I don't understand why this testimony is never talked about or considered when this mystery is recollected. I mean, all I've ever heard was that the raft was never found. Well, that apparently is a bunch of bullshit, if this former guard is telling the truth. And frankly, I doubt he is lying. True, he's got some facts mixed up, but lying? No, he's got no reason to. And if what he said is true, it sheds a whole new light on what really happened. Obviously the blood in the raft is from being all
I believe they lived...mythbusters did an episode on escaping like the Anglin bros and Morris...fashioning a "raincoat boat" and made it across the bay from alcatraz...If you havent done so...do an Alcatraz tour...definately worth it if you like this kind of stuff
, a couple things dont add up to your story , why would you go into the woods by yourself looking for three escaped convicts? wouldnt you have radioed back immediately the moment you you had discovered the boat you were sent to seek out in the first place? you would have stayed put, left the boat where it was exactly like it was, radioed in a hurry and every boat and chopper would have flocked to that area and those woods like flys to shit.... dude.
The blood makes no sense. The Frank Morris and the Anglin brothers likely put blood in the boat on purpose so the authorities would believe they were dead. Morris had a genius IQ he was no dummy. I guarantee they escaped and lived on. Mythbusters made a duplicate of the boat and proved it worked fine.
Hey is u really want some info.. why don't u ask the Anglins descendants. Just go 2 facebook and look up Anglin there are actually a lot of us on there.
i hope they made it, i really do. This really is a master-mind plan that only the brave could execute, i bow down to all who tried and made it out of THE ROCK
You get the truth right out of the horses mouth. It is government cover up.

Clifford Fish was also present during the "40 Blast Out." I read about him in Philip Burgan's book.

funny how a man that worked there has different name of the escapee then the one reported and in the movie. This seems quite odd.

he saw no foot prints because the last tide washed them away

It was brothers John and Clarence Anglin along with Frank Morris who escaped. Allen West stayed behind.

maybe the blood was from them getting cut on the barb wire fences, or guards may have killed them and it was a conspirac? who knows?
HumboldtHazePHX 3 years ago
I had the same thought about where the blood came from
videoguy4u 3 years ago
great video! it just adds to the whole mystery of th escape. what are your ideas of the where the blood came from?
