Basketball requires skill but not much else. Soccer, you need skill, endurance, and radar. You need to be able to run for 90 minutes with almost no breaks, you need to be able to make split-second decisions, and you need to have extremely strong legs to direct the ball correctly. It's not as easy as it looks.
