actually it is 2 octaves up for (part of) the tapping.

on the 12-10-9, etc. etc. tapping, he pitches up 2 octaves w/ the whammy, but it is all played on the g string

Yeah it's a bit of a stretch isn't it! I think my distortion which is a boss mt-2 is about £50-£60 and the whammy is £120 of GAK i think

no a metal zone. think of it like this. metal zones tonal range is 0 - 100 and mega distortion is like 0 - 30

Play them slowly and speed up gradually once you got it. It is the only way to get any sort of accuracy.

The pedals are as follows.... Distortion = Boss MT-2 or Metal Zone, Delay = Boss DD-3 or Digital Delay, Pitch Shift = Digitech Whammy
