Do you need to have the Dragon Sword in level 3 to get the True Dragon Sword, or is it possible to get the True Dragon Sword (lvl 4) if you have the Dragon Sword in level 1 when you reach chapter 11?

The True Dragon Sword is entirely story-related, so even on weapon runs the Dragon Sword will always automatically upgrade itself regardless of the level it is previously.

To answer your question, that attack is simply the 360Y UT. Wide radius on the ground, but it'll usually only take one enemy upwards. However, if anything happens to jump at you while you're doing the air portion, they'll get shredded into pizza topping.

Anyway, the True Dragon Sword. Same as the Dragon Sword, but more combos and power. In game, some of the combos are listed as "Lv 4", meaning that the combo can't be done unless the Dragon Sword needs to is level 4 - the *True* Dragon Sword.

The true dragon gleam ultimate tech. is the coolest move in this game. Ryu would kick Kratos ass hands down. I think the only 2 guys that could beat him are Superman and The Flash

I'm not that far in this game yet and I was wondering if this, what you're doing is a test of valor, or is there any survival mode? Also, is there a way to replay only certain chapters instead of playing the whole game again? Or only through manually saving before each chapter?

Bait him into using his little charge and do a Wind Run (X+A). Time it right - you have to do it *right as he's about to hit you* - and you go right through the charge. Spank him by doing your most damaging attack(s) with whatever weapon of your choice.

That's the TDS' 360Y UT; I forget the name of the move in this game, but it's same as the UT from NGB once you got the TDS in that game.
