NOW I think its sad that the United States has an issues with what beauty is, especially for dark skinned woman.....tho the fashion industry doesnt. You are right on. Black beauty is sort of mainstream in the US, but not really for darker skinned people. The general public can appreciate a Halle or a Beyonce, but these are light skinned women with relaxed hair.

Only morons would fail to acknowledge how mainstream american beauty standards are warped and only perceive one type of beauty, mainly white beauty. It is funny that whenever I leave America, in Europe white men fall over themselves, maybe they aren't so brainwashed by the media in their countries?
