To the average buyer, these are pointless. Tires are already expensive, why buy a pair that are meant only for colorful burnouts? Whats the speed rating and tread on these? Could you actually use them as a race tire until the end where you pull a bad ass burnout after getting the flag? Doubt it, but maybe.

@Sp33dyD3m0n I'm not 100% but i'm pretty sure the kumho smoke tyres are the same silica compound KU31 tyre that they sell as a semi-performance tyre, just with a dye added to them. The tread pattern and compound properties are still the same :)

@lilwayne5475 I'll try to make it sound simple..There are special places on the tire where it is either colored red, blue, yellow etc...(whatever color you want the smoke to be..) So when the tire is burned that part rubs against the concrete making like a sort of dust..Kind of like when you grind chalk on a board and the dust that falls off of it and creates the colored smoke...It's a pretty smart idea actually...
