  • Good work, nice one on the falcon drop attack.

  • Awsome man how did you make the charecter go into the sky for the falcon drop skill

  • that final combo thing is a bit overpowered lol, but that was freaking awesesome!

  • First, I am quite impressed with your work here. Very nicely done.

Second, I too am making an RPG, entitled "Timeless", using RPG Maker 2000. Since 2000 and 2003 have roughly the same interface, I was wondering if there was any way I could learn a few advanced things from you, especially in the factor of variables and common events. Normal Switches I can pull off fine, but the other things...not so much.

  • dude thats impressive

    ur freakin godly at this...

    i give u my props!!

    keep up the good work

  • Yeah, I have made a game. I am glad I didn't watch this first cuz I'd be pretty discouraged LOL.

  • The animations now are better lol I should make a new video soon.

  • Check out my channel I just posted a few vids of my rpg. No custom battle or anything but I did come up with a few interesting scripts.

  • dude how do u make the combos? do u have msn???

  • very nice work. there clearly was alot of effort put into this. the sheer number of sword swinging sprites proves that.

  • This looks pretty damn good. I believe those limit breaks have a set damage per hit?

  • No its something like his attack plus a set amount of damage minus the opponents defense.

  • I see.... was it done via events?

  • yeah.

  • Why don't you make them actually combos? Damage per hit.

  • I did. For the combo limit anyway. I can't do it for the actual skills themselves, though.

  • @dudedude301

You can actually, it takes an insane amount of programming, which I did in my game.

I'm very experienced in programming in rpgmaker you might want to check out the boards of my latest game which I worked 6 years on.

I can offer you some of my knowledge to make very advanced systems where you can fully use skills with variable calculated damage. based on stats, based on own made elemental levels whatever you want.

And maybe you can mean something for me in the anmation part ;)

  • omg wow :) sick animations!

  • Thanks.

  • Very impressive! I hope you'll make another video!

  • thanks for the feedback. I'll try to make another video. You'll have to wait lol.

  • Well, that's not what you can call a "newbie's game". Great animations, seriously!

Me too I'm working on my game project and now I'm pretty satisfied of what I've done so far (do you know about Golden Sun? eh eh!).

I'm good at programming and I can help you in something you would need for your game (the mirror reflex, ice sliding...).

If you want an example, just click at my nick!

    Anyway, great job!

  • Okay thanks mate.

I will have a look at your videos to help my progress with my game. I need Inspriation lol.

  • do the green things attack you ??

  • No they don't.

    They are just dummies.

  • So how do you create Limit Break than? I try to create one but I always end up doing it wrong..so can you help me?

  • How goos are you with Switches, Variables, branch conditions and common events? I can help you if you can use them.

  • Me...Im only good at switches and thats all.... :(
