b20/vtec also know as a b20c common setup but ppl dont like them cause of the failure rate. i built a b20c and put it in nthe low 9's 5 years ago. i know honda in and out and can build them with my eyes closed.

not to be rude but that just doesn't make sense....lots of people swap intake manifolds on gsr's and the actual vtec crossover will sound the same as a b16 or itr.....stock gsr's have a unique intake manifold with secondary butterflies....vtec @ 4400rpm and secondaries open @ 5750...if you swap a aftermarket IM you get that one strong vtec hit

The stock rod ratio on a CRV is about a 1.52, which means that revving the piss out of it will eventually throw a rod through the block. You should probably go do some more reading before you speak.
