Few singers in pop have sung as hard for as long as Ann has, and her voice still sounds great. Singers who overstress their cords are sometimes treated with meds like prednisone that cause weight gain and "moon face" bloating.
I have no evidence for this, but it might be a factor.

Ann Wilson is quite simply one of the finest vocalists ever to grace a stage or recording studio. Absolutely amazing talent. And Nancy Wilson is a first rate guitarist, musician and vocalist. She rips up the guitar. I've had the pleasure of seeing Heart live and I highly recommend seeing them if you get the opportunity. I even got to meet and talk to their bass player (at the time) a few years ago.

Just saw them live on Thursday, in their hometown area of Seattle at the whiteriver. Def Leppard choked a fat one compared to Heart! Ann wilson is still singing great since 1974, Joe Elliot has lost his voice and they started in 1980

most of them do, anyone who works at their craft gets better. You don't stop being able to sing as you age, you learn your vocal abilities and how to manipulate them.
She is way too in love with how her voice can sound and needs to let that go, song was better when she didn't know how talented she was.

Ann Wilson is quite simply one of the finest vocalists ever to grace a stage or recording studio. Absolutely amazing talent. And Nancy Wilson is a first rate guitarist, musician and vocalist. She rips up the guitar. I've had the pleasure of seeing Heart live and I highly recommend seeing them if you get the opportunity. I even got to meet and talk to their bass player (at the time) a few years ago.

I saw this band in 1990, Lake Compounce in Ct...Won tickets, wasn't a Heart fan, but it was walking distance from home so what the heck, right....Glitter ball came out, Ann opened her mouth...and I was a fan. Incredible vocalist. Nancy's pretty cool too.

Just saw them live on Thursday, in their hometown area of Seattle at the whiteriver. Def Leppard choked a fat one compared to Heart! Ann wilson is still singing great since 1974, Joe Elliot has lost his voice and they started in 1980
