the csl was sold with the free of options of radio or aircon or both. THIS IS a csl. the best beamer ever built!

@plug007 I didn't realise you could have the option, I was under the impression BMW just sold it as a stripped out road racer. My mistake.

@funkyjim stereo is an option like Air conditioning. The CSL (Coupé Sport Leichtbau) is a very light car and stereo and air conditioning it's more weight (if you use this car on racetrack it's important for a car to be lighter as possible), but summer without air conditioning it's impossible...
