everybody talks about what to do ...and also about hands on ...but once we graduate from a foreign medical school you basically just get observerships and no hands on clinical experience ... any suggestions for that ?
it was not this difficult to get a residency interview when i applied to residency! however even then clinicals were a very important component of resident selection. every doctor, especially international medical graduates, should have at least one year of clinical experience in the U.S. and for all of those who say we can't find it, then just look above at the banner behind the interviewer: "insured hands-on clinicals in the U.S. - AmeriClerkships"! what an amazing concept for a company.
