The mean Diameter of the moon is 3,476 km or 2159.88 Miles...Looking at the size of the "so called object"...It is roughly 1/40 of the moon size..which will make it around 87 km approx. and "it" is flying pretty fast for that size too..Only my observation...Not passing any judgement..:)

@bamit1979 Depends on the distance between the viewer and object itself. It is impossible to estimate the size of these objects if you do not know their altitude above the surface. Are they flying just few meters above the ground of the Moon or hundreds of km? I guess those ufos are much closer to Earth than it seems. But what do I know... just guessing :-)

That's not an anomaly. I snapped pics of that vid and super imposed. There is a real object there. Not a mountain, not a refraction in the lens. That's an object.

It could be elevated mountain peaks seen coming over the horizon as the moon rotates. If I saw the objects going left to right as well then you might have something.

These get lost near the egde, also, they's too big to be NASA orbiters. Look at the size of these !! That's not the highest magnification!! These objects must cover a huge area to be seen with a stadard magnification like in this video. The moon is smaller than earth but it's not so small that you can see something go into it's orbit. It's also 186,000 miles away. Do you really think you can see something not that magnified and that far away? And why can't they be unbelievably huge? They're UFOS

The image quality is absolutely pitiful. The cheapest telescopes on the planet can do better than this. Remember that the Moon is 2160 miles in diameter. On this image scale the supposed "objects" would be unbelievably huge. Many tens of miles across! If the "objects" are an optical anomaly it is not something I have ever seen. Not in decades of observing the moon with a whole range of different instruments. Playing with image processing doesn't make the "objects" any more real.

What you are seeing is water dropplets on the lens forming. I have seen this many times. You can only see them on the edges of the moon where the light and dark intersec.

These are indeed actifacts caused by the camera. If those things were near the moon the would be longer visible, since they are illuminated by the sun. Those things would really be very big, 1" would be like a 100km across and would be seen from around the world.

Guys, get real here - these "ufo's" are completely stationary to the camera itself, which means they are not "orbiting the moon", they are artefacts of the camera. With that appearance, I would be 99% certain they are drops of water on the lens, which act as mini-lenses deforming the lunar image.

To be that size on the image, they would be several 100 km across and would be extremely obvious to even the most casual observer.

no, I'm saying NASA has orbiters constantly in the moons orbit, recording the surface of the moon ...you can watch their videos . Maybe cross reference the dates, see if any vids are available & look for anything out of the ordinary. NASA is famous for not making data available at the same time strange things are happening, but even if thats the case...you'd know something was up

@philysteak Try looking up lens refraction. What you are seeing are not flying objects but a camera anomoly. When the terrian changes elevation on the horizon between light and dark you will get these lens flares caused by lens refraction or lens defraction. If you notice in your close up shots the objects seem to absorb right back into the shape of the horizon. That shows you that they are reflections of the diff light from the surface changing because of terrain cganges on the horizon.

@philysteak Aside from the fact that in order to be seen from earth, the satellites must be very large, if they are satellites the should have a certain well defined period, hence if you look long enough you should see them performing the same orbit time and time again.
