Police stop tyrants breaking into homes to kill children etc militray polices when nations cannot help theirself to stop horrible attacks. Great video! This is an emotional issue for you both. I pray for a peaceful resolution. War is ugly, but sometimes necessary. If Osama's crew tried to take over here, I'd be kissing the ground the US military walked on. Granted, there's more to Iraq than our govt told the public OR the soldiers. But in a case like that, our soldiers need our support 10x as much. They pray & I know God hears THEM, regardless of how He may feel about some of our leaders.

Romans 13:4 doesn't say a soldier is a minister of God in any translation I can find - it says the authority - the ruler - is... what translation says 'a soldier is a minister of God?'

As in note in my video when it says THESE are ministers of God then you look up the word for minister for that verse it defines as: a public minister, a servant of the state, a minister, servant so of military labourers, of the temple, of one busied with holy things, of a priest, It is easy fo see that if God calls one who executes wrath a public servant of state

You gave me a word - still not the translation. No English Bible I am aware of has ever translated that passage as 'soldier' - that is your re-translation. btw - 3011 appears in Romans 13:6, not 4 - in 4 it is 1249 'diakonos' -
