Where is the R/C ? You did everything with your hand. It's a beautiful build,I just don't know what is radio controlled. Am I missing something? Thanks for posting it.
wow that's not bad :) atleast its cheaper then a tamiya truck lol. i been wanting to get a globe liner lol but then i was thinking if i could make one like you. but then ehhh i dont have machines n stuff lol tho i do work at a place where we sell custom metals go figure lol. so i could actually get anything made :) it nice should take some advantage of that lol post a vid of u driving it soon i wanna see it :)
material($380) + time(50hrs) + alot of fun : )This was a proto project which does not make viable sense for mass production given the amount of detail and design process. In general I average two new product/conceptual designs per month from RC toys, to robots, to you name it. This took more hours than expected indeed.
Thanks skl1cent. Design/built machinning: 38hrs Electronics: 12hrs. Smoke generator is selfcontained with a tiny fan for quick twin output. All aluminum except for original bruder front haul and wheels. Wheels are enforced inside with neoprene and ABS with aluminum center hubs. Very scale ride. Two active axles. Floating Rear axle. 3 isolated onboard nicd battery (9v/7.4v/3.7v)packs supporting smoker, lights, rc,LED resistors, micro switches, Spektrum 2.4ghz 6ch rx, servos/lift, esc, etc.
what is the frame made out of?

Gone. Too much plastic. New flatbed is all metal with functional rc lift and retractable hatch.
