Fantastic, I saw 10cc at Knebworth on 1976. I saw Graham Gouldman's 10cc at York in 2009. As the music press observed in the 70s. 10cc are the musician's musician's. Defiinely up there with the Beatles, from a concert goer for nearly 40 years.
I have fallen asleep with headphones listening to this song for 25 years. Deceptive Bends is a masterpiece. What a treasure to see it here. I used up 3 vinyl copies listening to it. The bass and guitar work tell a complete story. Thanks for the post.
Thanks for posting this. It has always been one of my favourite solos. Does anybody have tabs for this, I have been looking for years without success!
Hope this doesn't ruin it for anyone, but in the early '80's my "sofa" music for the ladies (I was around 13) was all my parents albums, Barry White, Bread and 10cc "Deceptive bends" some of the 10cc tracks from this album kinda helped me be the character I am today...I'm not a bad man, honest....thanks for the memories what a great track 1,2 & 3 and a superb album. If you play guitar you must listen and appreciate this!

Mr Gouldman is just UNREAL.
That was the 1st bass solo that got me into playing bass guitar.....what an under rated bass player......FANTASTIC!

i haven't heard this piece for over a decade and it still spends shivers through me.
