@wowcantfindaname12 75mm Purple in Heats. they are great to learn to slide on and when you have an understanding of sliding, they allow you to slide more freely
@maut97 Sector 9 has a lot of good boards and some shit boards as well. Depending on what you do, and what you wan't to do determines whether you should use a sector 9 or not.
@maut97 Only difference is that loaded are overated so are O'Tang wheels you know why you never actually hear the wheel sound? Because if they didn't mute it with a song you would be deaf at the end of the video with wheel chatter. Go home fan boy.
Get that Sector 9 shit outta here. Sector 9 is for dick suckers and pussies if your either or both of those two Sector 9 is for you. Right now im running 4pres 86a best wheel i had in a while. I got a couple abec 11 wheels and landyachtz hawgs but my 4pres still my go to wheel. They dont slide or cone like crazy but the stims do slide like crazy i will admit that but they're free ride wheels sooooo...
@monsterthighs1 just slide with em, the more you slide with a certain set of wheels, the more broken in they will be for sliding,(the more broken in, the easier it is to slide) :D
@MrJoey2miles not the inheats :D base on your board, you want some really slidey wheels, since this is a loaded video, i have to mention the durians or the stimulus. I suggest metro motion, cult classic, and the hesher snowball for ultimate freeride/slide :D
@zinsky81 S9 raceforms. cheaper then otangs, last longer. and have a much more consistent slide to grip. Once otangs a broken in the drift and slide like crazy, and cone pretty fast.
@PERRONmedia Im sorry but thats not true because i have owned the orangatang wheels for over 3 years now and nothing has gone wrong with them, plus S9 longboards arn't the best quality, Because they are for more for people who cant really longboard and can pick one up for like 80$, My empty board with nothing on it costs more then a sector 9 complete........LOL.......BUSTIN BOARDS.COM! BEST QUALITY IN LONGBOARDS!
orangatang in heat 80a slides for sure, i have seen many people say it slides like crap, while some say it's fine. Well, let me tell you. I'm a new longboarder, i use to have orangatangs in heat 80a on my crusier, now i got a longboard (3days ago...), i threw the orangatang onto it. I have never ever ridden a longboard before until 3days ago. At first it didn't make big slides, it still slide, just a little bit. today i'm already able to powerslide 180. the wheel slides, if it doesn't..it's you.
Hey guys, in order, can you tell me the wheel that slide the more beetween the Venoms Cannibal 83a, the 4President 83a or the Fireball Beast 84a ? Thanks !
@mrPACarrier The Fireball Beasts slide like mad. medium-hard urethane, with angled edges. the other two are both more set up for grip. you *could* get them into a slide, but out of the box, the beasts will slide WAY more easily.
@Heatho22 ya pretty much and loaded has also come out with pre broken in wheels (durians stimulas and fat frees) so you can get those to slide but to break in the more grippy ones just ride and try to slide
@Longboardmaestro Yes, they do. During a race, Kevin Reimer and other sponsored riders use a new set of wheels every other heat or so. They lose their grip that fast. (Reimer even sells or gives away his used wheels) Not only that, but the wheels use LABEDA roller skate cores. Talk about cutting corners huh? O-Tang also had to recall a lot wheels because the cores were breaking. They use a higher grade plastic now, but still have the same shitty cores.

How long do it take to brake some 80a In Heats ? I own some and im not sure if they are broken in .... Finally, is it normal that they have some (littles) chunks ?
@mrPACarrier it depends on how much do you ride, normally its about a week for someone who rides like 1-3 hours / day, if you're not sure just start making some nice big carves and then put your weight slightly on the nose, force the tail of your board to make it slide a bit, and just start going loose with it until you can completly slide them, it takes some days but your wheels will be sliding like butter!
@mrPACarrier and for the chatter just tighten your wheels so the wheel dont fly between the space your bearings left between each other or between them and your hanger. also you could try using some bearing spacers! (dont tighten your wheels to much cuz you're can screw your bearings up).
@syngatesbestbud101 hmm... im not sure brocken in means much of anything but BROKEN in means, for wheels anyway, used enough to be able to slide and junk.
@mrPACarrier there not "good" but i mean they will slide haha. . . . if you want sliding go with the o-tang stimulus on there website. 86a there amazing.
i have ridden every otang wheel in every duro except the fat free's. the oranga 4prez are by far the best. break them in right and they will slide in a drift silently.

Been breaking my 83a In heats in for a couple of weeks now. They are the beez neez =D They slide smoothly, but gives me a comfortable amount of grip when I want it. I have no problems with breaking out slides at slow speeds, but I can corner tightly when going fast also. Thumbs up!
@novakmast21 I would get the vanguard it is basically the same thing.... if you are getting orangatang wheels go to their website and you can choose one that you would like and is like how you would ride..... and the vanguard is cheaper than the dervish and i think the vanguard has a cooler graphic.....
hey loaded i got a question for u. I know ul be upset to hear this but i have a landyachtz spud... BUT... i use your wheels. Currently i have yellow durians, but i want something a lil more soft and downhill oriented. Now my question is, which wheel is for me. I still want to be able to slide some, butmainly for speed reasons, ya know. I weigh 140 if that means anything, and im hittin speeds around 30 ish... thinkin of goin faster. THANKS!
I want to get some orangatang wheels but I don't know which ones I should get. I will be cruising and sliding and doing lots of carving, and I want a really smooth ride. should I get the in heat 80a or 83a?
@BurtonStash2010 maybe yellow durians. Thats what i did, since they are bigger, more contact patch but they are harder. Purple 4 pres would be softer but smaller contact patch. Thats what i was choosing from, and i chose yellow cuz i like the bright color. I wish they made orange or green ones in that style
planning on doing donwhill but dunno wich to take between the purple (83a) or orange (80) otangs in heat wheels... might be taking the orange because there grippier but the purple slide better i heard... any idea of wich one i should take ? wnna be able to do some good sliding but still have good grip
so with the otangs in heat (orange) can you still do 180 spins etc. cause i have original trucks and i ride an apex 37 so i like sharp turns and i want some wheels that can slide good with nice grip and still can turn sharp
Planning to learn with the dervish

@Longboardmaestro Yes, they do. During a race, Kevin Reimer and other sponsored riders use a new set of wheels every other heat or so. They lose their grip that fast. wickitwonka17 1 year ago
@wickitwonka17 put scented stuff in the urethane or something, but it would make them so much more fun
MrTomthedestroyer 1 year ago
@MrTomthedestroyer Well that would be bad, you'd only sit around and smell the wheels and not ride xD

hey loaded i got a question for u. THANKS!

@THEWAR2012 thanks alot, I guess I haven't really broken my strikers in too much

Right now I have 84a 66mm abec 11 strikers on my apex 37 and I want to do slides ( mostly stand up slides)
Should I pay an extra $50 to get some yellow durians or just stick with my strikers?
pezz035 1 year ago
@pezz035 your wheels are perfect for sliding, i have 77mm strikers on my switch and can do 540's going under 20 mph.
THEWAR2012 1 year ago
@pezz035 dude dont get durians on an apex 37 go for stimulus they will slide qucker because they are smaller

I want to get some orangatang wheels but I don't know which ones I should get. I will be cruising and sliding and doing lots of carving, and I want a really smooth ride. should I get the in heat 80a or 83a?
austinnichol 1 year ago
@austinnichol 83a because it will seem a lot softer because of the ripples
humpde479 1 year ago
hey im planning on doing some stand up slides, hard carving, and lots of tricks, on an apex 34. What wheels do you think are the best for me
sk8skiboard3 1 year ago
@sk8skiboard3 Purple durians, or Purple in heats
BurtonStash2010 1 year ago
@BurtonStash2010 maybe yellow durians. Thats what i did, since they are bigger, more contact patch but they are harder. Purple 4 pres would be softer but smaller contact patch. Thats what i was choosing from, and i chose yellow cuz i like the bright color. I wish they made orange or green ones in that style

SomeoneNamedTom 1 year ago
so with the otangs in heat (orange) can you still do 180 spins etc. cause i have original trucks and i ride an apex 37 so i like sharp turns and i want some wheels that can slide good with nice grip and still can turn sharp
