@izuru Just so you know, you're a total moron. Watch the anime first before talking shit on an amv. The scene that "You thought the war was over" accompanies is a flashback. Endless Waltz was animated and directed by someone different than the series, so in Endless Waltz it's as if the Gundams ALWAYS looked like that. If you had bothered to watch it you would see that there are multiple flashbacks showing such. The flashback you're mocking is of Zero destroying the piece of Libra in the final ep

This vid is awesome, and so is this anime, but they REALLY messed up when they put angel wings on a machine.

Armored Core has more realistic machines.

Sirradal: It's a stylistic choice. Bipedal fighting machines are terribly impractical and wouldn't realistically be produced, but they look damn cool and make for a neat "superhero" metaphor in global pop culture.

And those angel wings? Yeah, they look cool. That's all the justification we need.

*Nothing* about giant robots makes sense.

They're completely impractical in every way. Seriously, check up on studies of the practicality of giant robots. The only reason they even *exist* is because they look cool. The Gundam franchise wouldn't exist if Yoshiyuki Tomino didn't get the go ahead from the toymakers that funded the studio.

Armored Core might look more realistic, but that's just another stylistic choice. In your eyes, it just looks "cooler." It's still completely nonsense.

"with one shot you thought the war was over"? wtf? it was the end, the "ONE SHOT" was at the end of the movie that destroyed the armored base. that resulted to the end of the war. and now you say it wasnt over when you go back into the movie and show things that happend before the end? you cant get a story strait can you? Or did you say that in the beggining to make ur video look cool?
