Admittedly I'm not American and don't really know who this guy is, but he seems to be taking the piss. I don't think he is serious. AIC were always taking the piss out of themselves and I think he was just playing along. Music interviews are usually boring as s**t, AIC knew this and obviously so did this guy, so they just stuffed around and gave people what they wanted...a good laugh. It was always one of the things that made AIC so good, they didn't take themselves too seriously.
