Subduction DEBUNKED continents don't drift you have gone to Gondwanaland Continents simply rise and the ocean basin fills in the rest. The is no conveyer belt that is nonsense Continents join on all ends to form a sphere half of Earths size This could not be unless it was part of Earths past. Earth grows and PT is BS Subduction would destroy the system. Because water would cover the Earth since 20% of the volume released in Basalt is water The mountains would be under water (no shoreline)
what a load of rubbish. images like these remind me of the struggle copernicus had in the middle ages.
the earth is expanding and contracting. the "tectonic plates" are the earths weakest points/rips. i do agree that magma is released, however its not due to tectonic plate movement. its due to "pressure", hence the expansion/stretching of the sea floor.
for once i would like to see a 3d simulation and not cut away. they dont show because they know its not possible!
@johnnytheprick: So the whole earth was covered with water when it used to be so much smaller, right? I wonder why we don't find evidence for that.. XD I am also in awe of how that much pressure inside the earth only causes some vulcanos and earthquakes.
i doubt it. the internal heat wouldve prevented water from forming on terra ferma. the reason why "we" havent found any evidence, is because "we" havent looked for it.

The expanding earth theory is old and was dismissed because it is physically impossible. There is a theory that planets do expand but only to a small extend and not in relation with the idea that all the continets used to cover the earth completely. Some creationist like this nonsense because they think it could explain the flood (because, like, when the earth was so much smaller it, like, must have been covered entirely by water) but even those nutcases usually admit their flood theory as a better straw to cling to.

Hi, apologies for the random comment, but we have just started an ambitious new community website based around our planet, and wanted to let people know who might be interested. It's at earth-forums (dot) com. We hope you like it!
@grandpied the plates do float on the magma and when a gap is formed in the earths crust the magma dries and solidifies into more crust and may join onto other plates nd also it is not a mind illusion it is fact!
If you think THIS is interesting then you need to consider what the Impact and Exit Event theory has to say. The theory is a facinatingly new concept which adopts and refines Plate Tectonics while acknowledging the possible existence of pangea. In my opinion the impact and exit event has expanded our understanding of what causes plate tectonics and the driving force behind them, and what is likely to happen to Earth in the future. Well worth a read.
It's easy to see how this myth got started. Because somethings float on water it's easy to fool the mind into believing that continents float also. They are floating on magma but are locked into place by the Earth's crust!
Continents don't move or float to other places. How could they? Dirt, crust, would get in their way. Even though continents sit on magma, they can't move because it's apart of Earth's crust. Earth grows, it stretches, and the continents get pulled apart. We know this stretching occurs because the undersea part of Earth's crust is newer than dry land's. New skin, crust, is formed during stretching. The only way continents could move about is if the oceans are magma, also.
Diameter of Earth gets larger as it grows and Earth's surface 'flattens' , this causes wrinkling effects and that's what creates mountains. Close your fist, your skin tightens. Open your fist, look at the back of your hand and notice the wrinkled-up skin, akin to mountains!
@grandpied I'm sorry but we can't find evidence for EE, only for PT. We can measure the size of the earth, you know. Also, continents actually can and do move.
@grandpied Nope. The evidence in a nutshell for plate tectonics are: volcanic and mountain areas(How they are so similar), convection currents, fossils(There are same fossils on different continents), types of rocks on different continents, and earthquake waves(primary/secondary waves really show the Earth's interior).
For Pangea to be true, it requires a continuous subduction zone all around the Pacific. Otherwise it is logically and geometrically impossible to get the structures we see on the ocean floor.
You may like to watch this video:
watch?v=_xD9xTjYUgg
There is also a video of how well the continents fit:
watch?v=rV2ik1Mj2AE
You should also check out the videos of Neal Adams
Neal Adams' videos are false. There is no matter being formed inside the Earth, certainly not fast enough to stretch the crust out like a balloon. If it was true, then in the past the Earth would have been much smaller, had less gravity, therfore no moon, no water, no atmosphere, no life.
Plate tectonics is true, the continents are all moving several inches each year, each in its own speed and direction. Nowhere is ocean crust nearly as old as Earth, so it is being subducted.
All members of the military community will relate to this: As an Infantryman/Scout I was taught how to read a military map. All military maps have a 'legend' at the bottom. The 'legend' describes what you see on the map in colors red (roads), blue (water), brown (contour lines), black (man made structures) and green (vegetation). It also has an "Angle of declination" diagram. This diagram explains how much the ground has moved and in what direction since the map was published.
I wasted 1 hours of my life in Geography learning this when I could of just stayed at home and watched this 1 and a half minute video... Oh well, It at least helped me with my homework :3
@cherrychapstickgurl omg shut up i bet u like justin bieber he is so gay u think ur so cool and especially his song baby shutup little 10 year old girl lol
one quick look at an antarctic ice core data sheet reveals that CO2 levels usually never went above 300 parts per million in the last 400,000 years, current CO2 levels are at 392 parts per million and rising.
when enough ice has melted off of antarctica and the earths crust springs up there will be cracks in the earths crust worldwide. this is no doom and gloom warning, this is science fact.
Carbon dating has been proven wrong under certain circumstances. That doesn't mean it's trash. That means you should avoid using carbon dating on samples that most likely have been contaminated or are from samples under the reservoir effect.
part #2 there are huge creature on earth (compared to humans) like whales, they have huge bones and mass and have no problem with movement, imagine an animal the size of a whale running in today's atmosphere and gravity, a 50 yard tall elephant, it would create deep craters with every step (or just get stuck) and create tornado like winds running by (like a 50 yard tall 18 wheeler), it would take so much energy, but when the earth was smaller (less gravity) less resistance, less energy to spend
Where did all that extra matter come from to inflate the earth?
Because if you don't give it extra matter the density of the earth will decrease and so will the gravity field around it.
According to common sense if you idea is true then the biggest animals of the Jurassic like brachiosaur shouldn't have been much bigger than a Great Dane.
@jxvwp my question is how did the gravity double, mass does play an important role in gravity but remember that the earth is spinning, also the sun exerts gravity on the earth, the earth exerts gravity on the moon and vice versa. The earth does collect some stuff from space but I think that overall the actual mass can be similar. Imagine a spinning 'plasma pressure cooker' cooking metal, rock, natural magnets, etc. with 2 heat sources, inside the cooker and the sun on the outside, CONTINUED
@jxvwp CONTINUED... any way, add time to this experiment along with cooling on the outside, enuff for life to take shape, plus remember that the earth along with the sun does have a cycle it goes thru before dieing out, there are also other variables to consider that we know nothing about or just can't even imagine.
The heat source in side the earth must be responsible for it expanding, maybe during this process the heavier elements got deposited towards the surface, doubling our gravity, ???
I think this is where one would use Ockhams Razor and go for the most simple hypothesis.
So lets see the other hypothesis.
We have tectonic plates "floating" around on convection currents in the upper mantle driven by heat released from radioactive decay.
Personally I think this explains the geologic features of the earth much better than the "Growing Earth" hypothesis. Secondly it's much simpler than the proposal you put forth to fill up the Earth as it expands.
@jxvwp yes, tectonic plates do "float" but how do you explain India riping it self off and crashing in to Asia, all by it self and the only land mass to do so.
You have to watch Neal Adams videos, he explains almost everything in a simple logical kind of way(not like a sales man). At first I thought it was some 'creationist BS' but no, the 'Growing Earth' theory has been around for a hundred years and it is a scientific theory, there is a lot of evidence/proof to support it.
The mistake he is making is to only observe India's path.
In reality when Pangea broke off the Antarctica plate moved south while the Indo-Australian plate moved north east. By this movement India seemed to break off Africa and Australia seemed to break off Antarctica. When this plate then crashed into the Eurasian plate we got the himalayas.
You may wanna look for an animation of it here on youtube.
@jxvwp dude, I'm tired of talking to you, not only did Neal Adams scientificly observe every continental plate but also observed the moon and other planets with the same phenominon, huge expansions of outer crust, streching of the surface, etc. etc. etc.
I'm not trying to debate you or change your mind, I just thought that I'll bring up some good points, but unfortunatly "you can bring the mule to the water hole but you can't make him drink it", some mules don't like fresh clean water, hmmm...
The only object I've ever seen with expansion marks is the Jovian moon Europa. And that aren't even real expansion marks. Those are cracks and rifts and valleys created when the outer Ice-crust has been effected by the combined effects of the tidal forces of Jupiter and the other Galilean moons.
And Neal even tried to use Mars in his expansion theory. A planet that since its creation have been tectonically dead. The only geologic life that planet had was vulcanism.
When Neal Adams and the rest of the EO theory people can show how (+1) + (-1) = 1 and not zero, then they will escape the massive conservation of energy problem they have. Not only that, but Neal starts from Pangaea, which was not the only super continent. His old ideas cannot explain about a million different geological facts, like multiple regional orogeny events and collisions of multiple terrains which crate a geological mess of regional bedrock..
@Aaron518 by trying to sound scientific and so scientifically sophisticated you have proven that you have nothing interesting to say, you can NOT discredit the EE theory, I challenge you to disprove EEs strongest points, like the different ages of the ocean floor, etc. Don't just ramble on about your bullshit opinion, be specific and to the point, disprove EE only, don't criticise Neal Adams or me, just disproove the Expanding Earth in a logical way.
@marktsheppard Um, it's called recycling. The earth's oceanic plates are being regenerated via magma. It's not that difficult of a concept - and notice I didn't even need to use any "scientifically sophisticated" words...
wow! your so smart, Jesus Christ - your such a gifted genius, nobody is talking about magma regeneration, you haven't even read any of my previous comments, you just wanted to comment but have nothing interesting to say, go back to your lady gaga videos
...logic and common sense are the foundation of science, but science can be corrupted, hence forth the "conspiracy of science". What convinced me about the expanding earth theory is my own observation of the huge size of creatures in the Pangaea days, GRAVITY is a law of physics which dictates how big life can grow, with the earth being half the size, gravity and movement including flight must have been easier to overcome, a pterodactyl could NOT fly in today's earth, to much resistance
Good video with a pretty entry level explanation. Why people are believing a cartoonists touting an idea that's widely disputed (yes, meaning it's NOT accepted as a an actual theory).....that's like believing in a religion made up by a sci-fi author
@LevyDevil yeah your right, it should be read as Crust on top, sub continental lithosphere in the middle and the aesthenospheric mantle on the bottom. but then again i dont think the people who are watching this need to know it THAT well.
Why the hell are people taking the half-baked ideas of the Batman author over the scientific community? Granted we've used satellites to MEASURE continental drift, both subduction and formation, shouldn't it be laid to rest?
Fish might have been smaller but there were also larger fish... I think you have your biological time periods mixed together... Why are you asking youtubers for this information when you know you could learn all of this from a library from books which cite their sources for information. It's not like people just make this stuff up. It comes from literally HUNDREDS OF YEARS OF STUDY by THOUSANDS of people.
The Earth is in fact almost 512,000,000,000 cubic miles in volume.
The outer and inner core put together are almost or about the same volume as Mars (about 74,000,000,000). The inner core is less than 1% of the Earth's volume.
Just wow. I can't believe that people really don't believe in plate tectonics. Are you joking? Did you never go to school or college? Oh yeah I forgot most people don't listen. 5 stars for the video. -5 stars for the commentators.
Basically the story is that in the 1950s scientists measured the sea floor and deduced that NONE of it is older than 200 million years (under 5% of geological time).Geologists were constantly arguing in those times. There was those who believed it had always been roughly the same,Pangea theorists and Expanding Earth theorists. Sea Fossils had been found on mountains and there was no Mechanism for an expanding Earth so the Pangea theory prevailed. Trust me people do listen!
The theory might be only 40 years old but it wasn't like they suddenly made it up. It probably took years to develop the theory. Blue Whales are not fish and other than that I'm not sure why you even said that. Why can't a mountain move slowly? Why would it have to happen quickly? No mountains have suddenly appeared within our lifetime. There might be volcanoes that have sprung up within our lifetime. It's obvious that you have no understanding of geology
The point was that all flora and fauna adapt to their surrounding and its strange that nothing larger than a blue whale ever lived in the sea at any era in prehistory
That was my point.
On the edge of india near tibet you have mountains (himalayas) where annonite fossils were found thats what sealed plate tectonics theory in concrete
But scientists suggested even then that this proccess seamed unlikely
it took hella long dude Alfred Wegener published The Origin of Continents and Oceans about pangea in the 20's and in the 60's when they had the instruments and shit to figure it out they were like oh shit I guess wegener was on to somethin.....
There is no area of subduction. Look at the geological evidence supporting expansion. Subduction theorists have ignored evidence like - sea floor dating (core samples),pacific rim coasts fitting together (It's not an Atlantic century any more). People, please, don't make a quick judgments, investigate before you make a conclusion, and then apply your empirical evidence; you'll be surprised on what you find!!!
You have no idea what you are talking about. The volcanoes that formed around the pacific rim are those that form from subduction of oceanic crust. Your theories are laughed at in the academic world and in the real world. There is no evidence to support expansion.
"Subduction theorists have ignored evidence like - sea floor dating (core samples)"
Which "subduction theorists"? And which sea-floor core samples have they ignored? Please provide me with the names of the researchers who have "ignored" such data, along with the titles, dates and numbers of the journals of publication which support your claims.
the proccess described by plate tectonics would leave fossils mangled.
none of them questions are really geological ones!?
and they cant be answerd
the subduction zones are where plates shift sidewards not against each other
More like friction zones.
Sorry but you should into how many "facts" you read in a year one geology book are correct because even mainstream geologists are always arguing over the whole pangea thing
Lots of fossils are mangled but I think that you don't understand what happens where the plates "crash" into each other. They move at about the speed your fingernails grow so large portions of rock crack and pile on top of each other, bunching up like a rug bunches up when you push it up against a wall. This same process lifts the sea floor to the tops of mountains bringing fossils and everything else with it. That's not the only way that seashells can end up on land however. Please read books
due to the conveyer belt like proccess which would surely mangle the fossils up
In fact a lot of fossils have been found in this way
A hill 2 miles accross grew in 2 months lol but thats only niggly things
The big question is not in geology
If you actually take a moment to open your mind and listen to the scientists that know about you will realise that geology its a sound hypothesis check out "Yes! the earth is growing" on youtube its australian
@MyOtherBeaver i've just read all your posts on the issue and you really have no idea what your talking about. fossils on mountain chains, look up "ophiolite" that will answer that quesion. The fossils dont get "mangled" because they are pushed into what is called an accretionary prism which essentially protects them. The problem with opening your mind to people like neal adams is that usually your brains fall out. listen to the real scienctists not a cartoonist.
Any peer reviewed scientific journals that publish essays on expanding earth theory? Cite name issue and page, or give a website where I can find them. If its not in a peer reviewed scientific journal, it didn't pass the scientific test for a theory.
spoonogsback: Get a clue dude! Subduction zones are very real and supported by: 1) deep earthquakes, trace elements compositions characteristic of oceanic basalts in volcanics near subduction zones, trenches, etc etc etc. Not to mention the fact that Neal Adams's theory is blown away by basic thermodynamics.
Thanks for making the Intardweb what it is today.
Of course, it was god who made our world, and since ever there were not any change! There as some prooves that we can't simply ignore. Of course this theory may be wrong, but 'till the moment is the one supported by more data.
Please pardon my ignorance, but I have a question.I'm asking you because you seem to have a solid opnion. Do the concepts of Pangea and Expanding Earth contridict each other, or is it possibile to believe in both?
Did you take the time to look at neal adams videos there easy to get to on his website........... You can believe anything you like I'm not telling anyone what to believe . I am simply saying that the pangea/plate techtonics theory is very difficult to accept after you have watched Neal adams videos especially as his theory works for other solar bodies that no-one else can explain his theory fits them all.......
So have a look and come back if you wish to discuss.
"27.88": And you see the mountains, you think them to be solid, and they shall pass away as the passing away of the cloud -- the handiwork of Allah Who has made every thing thoroughly; surely He is Aware of what you do.
None of this is true. Subduction DEBUNKED
water is released along with the basalt at the ocean rifts at about 15 to 20 percent of the volume of basalt
For simplistic sakes the basin is about 5 miles thick so if you take 20 percent of that you get about a mile of water in thickness released
According to PT earth has been rifting for 4.5 billion years
That would have recovered the earths surface 15 times over
so in essence there shouldn't be a shoreline
in fact the mountains as well should be submerged as well

All members of the military community will relate to this: As an Infantryman/Scout I was taught how to read a military map. All military maps have a 'legend' at the bottom. The 'legend' describes what you see on the map in colors red (roads), blue (water), brown (contour lines), black (man made structures) and green (vegetation). It also has an "Angle of declination" diagram. This diagram explains how much the ground has moved and in what direction since the map was published.

one quick look at an antarctic ice core data sheet reveals that CO2 levels usually never went above 300 parts per million in the last 400,000 years, current CO2 levels are at 392 parts per million and rising.
when enough ice has melted off of antarctica and the earths crust springs up there will be cracks in the earths crust worldwide. this is no doom and gloom warning, this is science fact.
vengencefrom1979 1 year ago
@TheJoeCoolShow
Do we rally have to go through this again?
Carbon dating has been proven wrong under certain circumstances. That doesn't mean it's trash. That means you should avoid using carbon dating on samples that most likely have been contaminated or are from samples under the reservoir effect.

part #2 there are huge creature on earth (compared to humans) like whales, they have huge bones and mass and have no problem with movement, imagine an animal the size of a whale running in today's atmosphere and gravity, a 50 yard tall elephant, it would create deep craters with every step (or just get stuck) and create tornado like winds running by (like a 50 yard tall 18 wheeler), it would take so much energy, but when the earth was smaller (less gravity) less resistance, less energy to spend
marktsheppard 1 year ago
@marktsheppard
Where did all that extra matter come from to inflate the earth?
Because if you don't give it extra matter the density of the earth will decrease and so will the gravity field around it.
According to common sense if you idea is true then the biggest animals of the Jurassic like brachiosaur shouldn't have been much bigger than a Great Dane.
jxvwp 1 year ago
@jxvwp my question is how did the gravity double, mass does play an important role in gravity but remember that the earth is spinning, also the sun exerts gravity on the earth, the earth exerts gravity on the moon and vice versa. The earth does collect some stuff from space but I think that overall the actual mass can be similar. Imagine a spinning 'plasma pressure cooker' cooking metal, rock, natural magnets, etc. with 2 heat sources, inside the cooker and the sun on the outside, CONTINUED
marktsheppard 1 year ago
@jxvwp CONTINUED... any way, add time to this experiment along with cooling on the outside, enuff for life to take shape, plus remember that the earth along with the sun does have a cycle it goes thru before dieing out, there are also other variables to consider that we know nothing about or just can't even imagine.
The heat source in side the earth must be responsible for it expanding, maybe during this process the heavier elements got deposited towards the surface, doubling our gravity, ???
marktsheppard 1 year ago
@marktsheppard
Secondly it's much simpler than the proposal you put forth to fill up the Earth as it expands.
jxvwp 1 year ago
@jxvwp yes, tectonic plates do "float" but how do you explain India riping it self off and crashing in to Asia, all by it self and the only land mass to do so.
You have to watch Neal Adams videos, he explains almost everything in a simple logical kind of way(not like a sales man). At first I thought it was some 'creationist BS' but no, the 'Growing Earth' theory has been around for a hundred years and it is a scientific theory, there is a lot of evidence/proof to support it.
marktsheppard 1 year ago
@marktsheppard
You may wanna look for an animation of it here on youtube.
jxvwp 1 year ago
@jxvwp dude, I'm tired of talking to you, not only did Neal Adams scientificly observe every continental plate but also observed the moon and other planets with the same phenominon, huge expansions of outer crust, streching of the surface, etc. etc. etc.
I'm not trying to debate you or change your mind, I just thought that I'll bring up some good points, but unfortunatly "you can bring the mule to the water hole but you can't make him drink it", some mules don't like fresh clean water, hmmm...
marktsheppard 1 year ago
@marktsheppard
The only geologic life that planet had was vulcanism.
jxvwp 1 year ago
@marktsheppard
Aaron518 1 year ago
@Aaron518 by trying to sound scientific and so scientifically sophisticated you have proven that you have nothing interesting to say, you can NOT discredit the EE theory, I challenge you to disprove EEs strongest points, like the different ages of the ocean floor, etc. Don't just ramble on about your bullshit opinion, be specific and to the point, disprove EE only, don't criticise Neal Adams or me, just disproove the Expanding Earth in a logical way.
marktsheppard 1 year ago
@marktsheppard Um, it's called recycling. The earth's oceanic plates are being regenerated via magma. It's not that difficult of a concept - and notice I didn't even need to use any "scientifically sophisticated" words...

cherrychapstickgurl 1 year ago
...logic and common sense are the foundation of science, but science can be corrupted, hence forth the "conspiracy of science".

The Earth is in fact almost 512,000,000,000 cubic miles in volume.
The outer and inner core put together are almost or about the same volume as Mars (about 74,000,000,000). The inner core is less than 1% of the Earth's volume.
RJL738 2 years ago
Just wow. I can't believe that people really don't believe in plate tectonics. Are you joking? Did you never go to school or college? Oh yeah I forgot most people don't listen. 5 stars for the video. -5 stars for the commentators.
Melechkibitzer 3 years ago
Basically the story is that in the 1950s scientists measured the sea floor and deduced that NONE of it is older than 200 million years (under 5% of geological time).Geologists were constantly arguing in those times. There was those who believed it had always been roughly the same,Pangea theorists and Expanding Earth theorists. Sea Fossils had been found on mountains and there was no Mechanism for an expanding Earth so the Pangea theory prevailed. Trust me people do listen!
MyOtherBeaver 2 years ago
The theory might be only 40 years old but it wasn't like they suddenly made it up. It probably took years to develop the theory. Blue Whales are not fish and other than that I'm not sure why you even said that. Why can't a mountain move slowly? Why would it have to happen quickly? No mountains have suddenly appeared within our lifetime. There might be volcanoes that have sprung up within our lifetime. It's obvious that you have no understanding of geology
Melechkibitzer 2 years ago 2
I never said a blue whale was a fish lol
Biggest sea creature = Blue Whale (Mammal)
The point was that all flora and fauna adapt to their surrounding and its strange that nothing larger than a blue whale ever lived in the sea at any era in prehistory
That was my point.
On the edge of india near tibet you have mountains (himalayas) where annonite fossils were found thats what sealed plate tectonics theory in concrete
But scientists suggested even then that this proccess seamed unlikely
MyOtherBeaver 2 years ago

Earthquakes: expansion
Volcanoes: expansion
Spreading: Pacific and Atlantic expansion
There is no area of subduction. Look at the geological evidence supporting expansion. Subduction theorists have ignored evidence like - sea floor dating (core samples),pacific rim coasts fitting together (It's not an Atlantic century any more). People, please, don't make a quick judgments, investigate before you make a conclusion, and then apply your empirical evidence; you'll be surprised on what you find!!!
Operation2 3 years ago
@Operation2
You have no idea what you are talking about. The volcanoes that formed around the pacific rim are those that form from subduction of oceanic crust. Your theories are laughed at in the academic world and in the real world. There is no evidence to support expansion.
Mercarcher 2 years ago
"Subduction theorists have ignored evidence like - sea floor dating (core samples)"
Which "subduction theorists"? And which sea-floor core samples have they ignored? Please provide me with the names of the researchers who have "ignored" such data, along with the titles, dates and numbers of the journals of publication which support your claims.

Please tell me where the subduction zones are.
Please tell me why 95 % of fossils are found in shallow seas.
Please tell me how fossils can be found intact on mountain ranges (The conveyer belt like proccesses of plate tectonics would crush them to dust.
Please tell me how the Earth stays as hot as the sun for 4.4 billion years in the vacuum of space.
Please tell me why the largest sea creature thats EVER lived is alive and well today(the prehistoric ocean would have been collosal).
MyOtherBeaver 2 years ago
All of these questions can be answered by reading an introductory geology textbook.
And the oldest seafloor is in the western Pacific Ocean off the coast of Japan (~280 million years old).
There are subduction zones all around the Pacific.
"fossils can be found intact on mountain ranges" because of uplift. The top of Mt Everest has marine fossils.
First year geology book. Buy one.
bapyou 2 years ago
no they cant lol!!!
the proccess described by plate tectonics would leave fossils mangled.
none of them questions are really geological ones!?
and they cant be answerd
the subduction zones are where plates shift sidewards not against each other
More like friction zones.
Sorry but you should into how many "facts" you read in a year one geology book are correct because even mainstream geologists are always arguing over the whole pangea thing
ps Plate tectonics theory is only a theory
MyOtherBeaver 2 years ago
Lots of fossils are mangled but I think that you don't understand what happens where the plates "crash" into each other. They move at about the speed your fingernails grow so large portions of rock crack and pile on top of each other, bunching up like a rug bunches up when you push it up against a wall. This same process lifts the sea floor to the tops of mountains bringing fossils and everything else with it. That's not the only way that seashells can end up on land however. Please read books
Melechkibitzer 2 years ago
100s of years of study???
plate tectonics theory is 40 years old!!??
Blue whale is the biggest sea creature that we know about FACT
Mountains are raised quickly two it has happened in our life time
They have to appear pretty quickly
or else it wouldnt work
I read books
lol
MyOtherBeaver 2 years ago
due to the conveyer belt like proccess which would surely mangle the fossils up
In fact a lot of fossils have been found in this way
A hill 2 miles accross grew in 2 months lol but thats only niggly things
The big question is not in geology
If you actually take a moment to open your mind and listen to the scientists that know about you will realise that geology its a sound hypothesis check out "Yes! the earth is growing" on youtube its australian
Its the physics where the problem lies!!!
:)
MyOtherBeaver 2 years ago
@MyOtherBeaver i've just read all your posts on the issue and you really have no idea what your talking about. fossils on mountain chains, look up "ophiolite" that will answer that quesion. The fossils dont get "mangled" because they are pushed into what is called an accretionary prism which essentially protects them. The problem with opening your mind to people like neal adams is that usually your brains fall out. listen to the real scienctists not a cartoonist.
metfan89 1 year ago
also could you tell me why dinosaurs insects reptiles and birds were all so much bigger in those days when the fish was smaller.
Can you explain how a t rex moved its 2 ton head whilst being built anatomically for speed.
Please dont think Im being rude
these are all unanswered questions
Its over 5000 miles to the centre of the earth and we have dug 6 miles
We know more about the interior of the sun than we do the earth
Plate tectonics is a theory
Expanding earth is a better theory
MyOtherBeaver 2 years ago
Any peer reviewed scientific journals that publish essays on expanding earth theory? Cite name issue and page, or give a website where I can find them. If its not in a peer reviewed scientific journal, it didn't pass the scientific test for a theory.
appleguy77 2 years ago
spoonogsback: Get a clue dude!
