I'm sorry but I have to be honest. I DID see a weed. And I was STUNNED that a woman of such class and obvious good breeding could allow you to actually film that weed for all of you tube to see. Oh yes, it was right next to the rosemary behind the sage. I saw it. Mother Country you should be so ashamed. I bet there is a speck of dust behind your refrigerator!

Jim the yellow flower that you didn't know is called yarrow and it dries beautifully for fall arrangements. Your mother is adorable. The yard is beautiful and I could not get out in this heat and make a vegetable garden. How in the world does she do it ?? She is just lovely.

This is special my friend, thanks for this, my mom as you may know now lives in a nursing home 4 blocks up the street from my house and I see her almost every day and miss those days of going to her house and getting something good from her garden. This is something to treasure my friend, give your mom a big hug from me. Next time I eat a tomato sandwich I'll think of this video with you and your mom.

The birds got all my apricots! This was my first year that the fruit trees were giving me fruit and the birds got the majority of them. I'm growing tomatoes so I can try your fried green tomatoes recipe...but they aren't getting very big. I must have the wrong kind of tomatoes? Good to see you, MotherCountry, and the gardens! xoxoxo

Thank you Jim! Wonderful trip through her garden! I saw some garlic heads waving in the breeze! Gonna keep my eyes open for the perfect gardening hat for her. My Mom has the same sun glasses. my mom has alot of health issues with her legs as well...she can't hardly walk..and she actually has something called Cellulitis....she had to stay in the hospital a few weeks ago and it was hard to deal with....so I'm and praying for the best...I know she's going to need surgery

Hope Mothercountry's knee pain isn't serious. Man I miss the quiet drive to Bama through the backroads. Won't be heading to Huntsville anymore but to Birmingham to hang out with my brother once the new semester starts.
