Good question. I do not have skin allergies from oil paint but some people do.

I am a messy painter, and it is best in general to avoid having oils and turps come in contact with skin. It helps when handling the paints and the painting as well.

I get less paint on my clothes and myself when it is on the gloves and removed just before getting in the car or whatever.

What's with the big ole rubber glove? Is it that bad to get paint on your hands??? Doesn't it wipe off??
