Also you can boil some water for about 5to 10 mins and then put the water in a mug and stick your lipgloss in the mug fir about 10mins then it will look like your lipgloss is brand new. I got this idea from michellephan. But thanks for the tip Koren!

for squeeze type things boil a cup of water in the microwave for about 5 minutes.. and then place your lipglosses in it for a few minutes..then all your lipgloss is on the bottom..and you can squeeze it up easier..plus you get half of you lipgloss filled back up when it looks empty

if the product collects on the sides, boil the kettle and let it cool a few mins, place the lipglosses in a mug and pour some hot water in, leave for 5mins. I Saw this on michelle phans channel and it really works!!

I found the wall trick by mistake. Left my lip gloss inside the car (over here summers can get to up to 40°C) and laying by it side. Wow, went i came back the lipgloss was all over the wall and so easy to scrape off!

I know is not good for the lip gloss to be in such hot places, but since it's the last of it I think is worthy it, and even more if ur in a rush.

I have a different method in storing the lipgloss

Instead of storing the original container upright...instead I left the tube open and upside down in a sample container ( 5gram jars) till it all went in. It's my fave color and it was worth it to not use it for a day just so I can have all of it!

It's also easier to store...and a Q-tip would be used as an applicator

Oh snap, I didn't know you could remove that thing I always thought it was molded into the jar. :D I had a similar problem w/ my fav lipgloss not too long ago. I left it sitting on it's side one day & it gooped up so I couldn't reach it any more. I put it outside in the car's cup holder during a hot sunny day and it melted my gloss all the way back to the bottom! LOL

I have cut my UDPP bottle in half to get the rest of primer out. I am wondering if that method in the vid works for it cuz I found most of the primer stays at the near top area (the wider part of the tube) & there r not much down the end of bottle. UDPP is pretty sticky which I don't think they will melt down to the bottom if u put the bottle in hot water-that's Michelle Phan's way of reaching the last bit of lip gloss in tube-very useful but her method is for liquid not for primer like UDPP.

Check out HilsHeavenScents who puts her UDPP in the microwave to get it out, again u do have to remove the stopper first!! - Not tried it myself yet but it does look alot safer than cutting into the tube with a knife like most tutorials. Hope this helps. xx

if you cut the top off of urban decays primer potion with a sharp knife, there is a ton left in it, I just scoop it out and store it in an empty 5gram jar or something like that. You can also cut off the very bottom and scoop it out of there too.

the hot water trick works for pretty much all tubes, if it's stubborn you need to leave it in there for a very long time and keep topping up with freshly boiled water

many people do that too and works well, problem is once you put lipgloss warmer than room temperature, it alters its chemistry. Most manufacturers recommend keeping them in room temperature at all times for a reason. But if that works and saves money, Im all for it.

A better way to reach the sides is to dip the gloss in warm water for about 5 minutes so the gloss melts all the way down :)
