The pre-game is pretty good (much harder to do than it looks), and there is a different half-time show every game with drill written by the students - sure they're not Stanford or Ohio but they do what they can.

First off, when I marched there Mizzou had about 280+ people on the field, if you guys are fielding more than that, then more power to you. Second, Mizzou does not practive that much, they are not a competetive unit, and their purpose is to create a fun atmosphere - the drunken fans really don't know what clean is. You are the one that sounds like an immature idiot when you post messages like this.

i was in high school and watched that parade. that band played march grandiosso. and that was at least 6 years ago. 280 was certainly an inflated number. i think the next year that band had like 5 snares? there are some videos of that line on youtube.
very good performance of a great band, shapbase. our son played in the blue springs golden regiment four years thru 2004.
alot of great and proud times which we really miss.
