i reckon the key is with the kickflip is tahqt most people when the try a kick flip there to focused on the flip and not about popping the tail so pop the tail than flick if u want u can sorta when u pop the tail but pop it backwards so u back foot is help as well and ur front foot doesnt have to move as much it only has to do the flicking motion but ive got them on lock now so i have the style down and everyting

obviously ur not listening to when they say jump because if ur really jumping, like really jump like ur on the ground cuz when you do that you can pop and be able to lift ur back foot up instead of pressing hard on the back and only raising ur fornt foot for the flick. so pop when ur right about to get in midair and u feel a little lighter on the board.

mrrenny, when the board comes from under you, thats because you are using more of your leg, only flick your ankle slightly, and try to keeps your shoulder right above the board, that helps you from moving away from the board

Hmm you might be too scared to actually land on the board, so try jumping higher and tucking your feet up so you can stay over the board and wait for the catch / land
