This is ridiculous that the guy thinks everyone would buy the product in mass vs. a gag gift. What are you going to do, keep an extra drawer of all the 3rd ones until you finally do lose "a" sock? By that time, the 3rd (new) sock won't match the 1st (remaining) sock anyway, because of color fading/bleeding.
