Violet, I find that this happens in marriages after couples get 'used' to each other.
They stop putting their best foot forward and take their spouse for granted.

yeah!! im with you...some people tend to have this annoying and disturbing habits...but maybe they arent aware of it probably they think people see it as a "normal" or "usual" thing...love it!!
