Not really.Considering vampires,in fiction, are not real. When you write a book you can make it into what YOU want it to be. There are not guidelines. I've read other vampire books with different takes on vampires too. None of them are wrong,just different. That being said, the Twilight series isn't horribly written,its nothing extravagent like people say,but its a good book. The movie is just one of those things that "Had" to be made,since the book had so many followers

The Indians (Quileutes) Are shapeshifters and just happened to take the form of a wolf and not another animal. It tells about it in the legend told in the book. They are supposed to look like,basically,a huge wolf. People think they're bears from a distance. So they arent really werewolves

I like the fact that they are replacing Jacob with a more mature looking actor. No offense to Taylor, but he fit the purpose of playing Jacob before his wolf powers got a hold of him. Now the character needs to be played by an older actor that looks like a man and not a kid. No offense to anyone but the new Jacob fits the character way better.
