I thought RR5's and RR3's were all bolt-on? That one appears to be Neck-Through, is that exclusive to the white ones, sense they appear to be the only ones with stop tailpieces as well?

I think that Jackson's necks have gotten skinnier over the years because at a music store near my house they had an original RR1 from 1986 and then I played another RR1 but from 2006 and the neck was skinnier on the 06 one. I liked the 1986 more. Had a fuller sound

They only still make ones that are similar, but not exactly the same.

Randy's did have block inlays but a very early version of a Kahler Trem invented by Grover Jackson. He was just about to receive one with the upgraded trem when he died!

You're actually confusing three different vees. There's the Sandoval Flying V, which is not associated with Jackson. That had a vintage tremolo. The Jackson protoype vee had the shark fin shape as well as the vintage trem and pickup selector located in top area. It was a Les Paul transmorphed into a V shape. Then there is the official production Rhoads V which is all wrong by comparison: alder body, OFR, etc. It's a Soloist morphed into a V shape. And then we have the inlays. :D
