The Romans changed the name of the land from Judea to Palestine as a punishment against the uprising headed by Shimon Bar-Kokhba. The punishment was meant to have a deep psychological effect on the Jews... the name of their land was taken from them and substituted with name of their ancient enemy, the Philistines. That is it... Peleshtim = Palestinian. The Jews punished with that name. Before 1967 we only heard about the Arab nation, not 'Palestinians'

Muslims may have had a few halfway desent leaders but the history of Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, etc, living under Muslims was nothing but pure hell. History has taught all but Muslims U cannot make a ppl superior 2 others as Islam does w/o the others being treated very badly by the gov &/or the ppl.
