Try the 10000 (0000 and 0001 to 9999) combinations and you've unclocked it! It would take about four hours ; )

Stumbled across this looking at bar tricks and happened to have one of these locks sat on the kitchen table with a lost combination, massive coincidence, can't believe it worked.

I tried this on a lock of this design and it worked. I can't do it without first writing down the 16 possible combinations.

I would never use a lock of this type now I know how simple there are to open.

I have one of these locks, a year of daily use and in perfect condition, it says willenhall England on the bottom. I have tried this method but feel no resistance before- on or after the right number. I've tried lots, moderate and light thumb pressure but no obvious combo is revealed which i'm happy with.

lol. It's beyond my imagination why the manufactures can't come up with better designs. Should be quite doable. An OK lock for many moderate usages let down by the code mechanism. Or perhaps they have. Have tried on a few of my Abus brass combination locks with 3 and 4 discs. Seems like mine got some false notches that many of the vids here on YT hasn't. None the less the false notches are only on every other number reducing the possibilities to a mere 125 on the 3 disc version - 1 minute on avg

Thanks for this video. I have had an old bike lock in the shed for years with a lost combination. Took me less than 5 minutes. The only thing is, would I trust it now? Probably not :-)

why would you want to lock it again if you have to pick it? usually picking a lock means doing something you shouldn't be doing "ie, stealing" why would you steal something and then lock the padlock back? to piss them off? XD
