I love Alton Brown. He is so cool and so talented. I love Good Eats also because it's scientific and I learn a lot from that show. I found out in one episode that coconuts are drupes instead of nuts.

I don't think Alton qualifies as a chef. He knows his stuff and all, but I don't think he's a chef, and I also don't think he sees himself as a chef either.

I have yet to take on the recipes on Good Eats, but all the little tool tips (down with the uni-tasker!) and scientific facts made me a kitchen connoisseur. Though, I had Thankgiving turkey a la Good Eats, and it was damn near the best turkey ever.
