  • the beginning makes me think of wallace and gromit :)

  • It's the ending of Satie's The Adventures of Mercury. Not one of his best.

  • @IainOElliott2 You're correct. I tried to edit the video, but it already has too many views and youtube won't allow it. I guess I'll just let it be. Thanks for your comment.

  • per curiosità... fino all'inizio (1.10) del vero e proprio Socrate, qual è la musica?

  • "SOCRATE" STARTS @ 1'10'' - and Thank you, sir Pedro

  • O.k. o.k: Socrate starts @ 1'10''

  • I don't think this is Socrate....

  • @grantco1313 What is it then?

  • @pelodelperro I've heard it before but I haven't found it on youtube yet. I've got a recording of Socrate and it sounds more like the other sections you have up, very meditative with the solo vocal having a plainchant quality. This is a section from either Parade or Relache, I think....

  • @grantco1313 Given that Danielle Millet is singing excerpts from Victor Cousin's translation of Symposium, my guess is this is Socrate.

  • @pelodelperro Ah, I figured it out. Your video doesn't start playing Socrate until 1:11. You have another piece attached to the beginning which isn't Socrate....

  • And actually I think I might have the exact same recording. If I remember correctly the CD may have incorrect separate tracks on it. I haven't listened to it for awhile but I kind of remember that being a possibility.
