You cannot change the color of the sphere. It's automatically assigned by the console...

@pfg1982 Well, actually, you have limited control over the color, reassign different controller numbers to your moves, or find something the exact color of what color you don't want, and put it near you. The controller number thing varies from game to game.

I agree with the packaging complaint, why don't they use cardboard packaging, It's much much more environmentally friendly, more safer and cheaper to make, and much easier to unpack and recycle.
