When I was about 6 years old I found this movie at the local VHS renting place. I had my dad rent it over and over and over again because I loved it so much! We didn't have where to buy it or the songs so I'd put my recorder right next to the TV set and record the audio to sing along after we returned the tape. You have no idea what it meant to be to be able to watch this again! I FEEL LIKE KIM! Barbie, my friend from childhood comes back now, over 20 years after... Thank you for uploading this!

This is the TRUE version of the Barbie special. I think later on they redid it at some point & "the Rockers" became "the Sensations" in the version I got on the web. I have this version on tape

Blue Jean Boy is a song written just for the special by Shuki Levy and Deborah Shelton. It's so darn good, it does sound like the cover of an actually released single, doesn't it? P.S. The full length version on the album blows the sample in the special out of the water.
