  • i wonder how it would feel if you were to balance all of your body weight on my solar plexis for as long as you could wearing those or in your bare feet? of course you are probably very light weight, although you are also probably very strong and muscular for your size, so you could use your muscles to add more pressure by pressing your hands against a wall while pressing your toes down on my tummy and twisting, grinding and kneading to try to squish me. would that be fun for you?

  • @cb46nep10 what the hell?

  • @hellokitty254698 what is the problem? have you never heard of barefoot full weight stomach trampling?

  • whatt freeds are they??? i have freed studio opera

  • But now I'm about to get my new Russian pointes :) SO excited. The ballet store had to order my size because I have a weird size foot and they said it'd take about 2 weeks to get them in and 2m it'll b 2 weeks which mean I'll get them soon so I'm reeeeaaaallllllllllyyyy excited!!!!!

  • i use bloch balance european or european balance(which ever u prefer to say)

  • I wear those purple gell things when I dance. Idk what she wears though. But I love my padding and pointe shoes. Great job btw! Beautiful fit!

  • @chrisclayton1cloe Thank you so much! What brand of shoes do you wear?

  • those shoes look good on you. what padding do you wear im haveing trouble decideing

  • @Ese27esl I actually don't use anything in this video. I really don't like padding too much, it makes me feel as if I can't feel the floor as well, but I started using paper towels. You just fold and wrap them around your toes, it helps to cushion and absorbs sweat :)

Toe pads are very popular, and work really well, though.

  • @BalletDancerrr thanks! i will definilty try that

  • You have such beautiful feet! :)

  • @PointeShoeQueen thank you so much, dear! I really appreciate it :)

  • you have good feet and I love your arches. It's really too bad if you'll never do pointe work again :( darn injury. be more careful next time and I hope you can still go on pointe. just take it slow and easy :)

  • @TheChaiTeaLatte Thank you! I'm starting again very slowly, doing just barre for now. Hoping to be up and running by Nutcracker season!

    P.S. i love Chai Tea ;)

  • your feet are beautiful :D

  • @xXShadowphaXx Thank you so much!

  • how are freeds support wise? do they last longer? stronger shank? im looking for a really hard shank. mine died too quickly. if you could help thatd me great!

  • @pointeguru18 They are not particularly strong, but I feel they are supportive for me. Everyone's foot is different. The Freed classics are really good for narrow feet with high arches and tapered toes. The one's I'm wearing in the video are a 5 shank, which is the hardest one, but they aren't very hard. I like to wear soft shoes because I feel it helps me have better balance. If you want a really hard shank, try a grishko. The 2007's are really sleek and pretty hard. Hope this helps!

  • @BalletDancerrr it does help and i got a pair of grishkos and i LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you for your help.

  • @pointeguru18 I got a pair of suprimas and the shank is quite hard, that was the only reason I bought them because my shoes died too fast all the time. also I have suprimas and I have squared toes

  • wow, i will die for ur feet :)! they seem very soft! is it hard to dance in them?

  • @DanceForlife12309 You definitely have to get used to it :)

  • Okay, first, try not to sit in your shoes as much, so try to pull up out of your hips more, and go through the feet more in eleves, and releves. Then it will look much better! Do you wear gel pads? If you do, it tends to be easier to sink into your shoes, or at least make it look like you are. You have good arches, so it should be relatively easy to fix. Hope this helps!

  • @sbdancer131 ...shes not sinking in one bit.. shes the most pulled up ive seen on utube! xP

  • @ballet4ever321 haha thanks :) You're very kind.

  • @BalletDancerrr no prob. how long hve u been on pointe?

  • @ballet4ever321 10 years. Because of a semi recent injury, my dancing career has, unfortunately, been terminated. But after extensive therapy, I'm now dancing recreationally again, but no where near the caliber that I was before.

  • @BalletDancerrr oh great!

  • @sbdancer131 I don't wear any kind of padding in my shoes, I find that I can feel the floor a lot better without them. And thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, due to an injury I sustained several months ago, I am no longer able to continue my dancing career. I just this week began taking a class to get back into shape and to regain muscle memory, but it's hard to say if I'll ever do pointe work again. If I do, I'll be sure to keep that in mind :)

  • you really shouldn't do that on carpet

  • @Julliardprima I know what I'm doing, thanks though!

  • @BalletDancerrr obviously if ur doing it on carpet you dont know what ur doing... its makes ur shoes die 25% faster

  • did they last long time?? i'm thinking of getting freeds capezio are too soft

  • @makeupfanpire Mine don't. I break in shoes really fast, but I also like when my shoes are kind of dead, so it really depends on your preference. Freeds are only like, 3 hour shoes. So I wouldn't expect much more of a life out of them than your Capezio's. Good luck!

  • They look beautiful!

  • Are those brand new? Seem awfully soft. Are they Super Softs? My wife wears Freeds, so did Wes Chapman... Nice Feet!

  • @TigersPops Yup, they are new. They are actually 5 shanks, which is really hard. I just break my shoes in very fast haha.

  • Your arches are some of the most beautiful I have EVER seen. Lovely.

  • Your feetare FANTASTIC! And the shoes look beautiful on you -x

  • I know this video is pretty old already but do you still know which freeds those were? If they are classics which maker is this? Thanks in advance!

  • You have wonderful feet- high insteps, right? Only advice I have is to make sure you pull up out of the shoes, as when you have such good points naturally it can push your feet over them. I didn't see you do that, mind, so I think you'll be fine, it's just what I as warned about :)

  • your arches are absolutely gorgeous!

  • Your arches make me sick cause their so amazing! haha

  • Beautiful! Your feet are stunning.

  • @ToLiveIsToDance15 Aw, thanks so much!

  • @BalletDancerrr No problem. ;)

  • wow your arches are freaking amazinggg i am so jealous!

  • Hey love those pointe shoes on you and I also love freeds! They look amAzing! But u should have elastics and ribbons on ur pointe shoes it is dangerous to go up without ribbons and I would suggest not going on carpet cuz u could slip!!! Just saying but u so have great feet and u get up on ur block very nicely!

  • beautiful feet:) I have russian pointe but those look amazing on you :)

  • @skinnygirlll thank you very much!

  • for petite battment...its good, except try to get your cir le cou de pie all the way around and more precise. :) you have amazing arches btw

  • @queenallegro96 thank you for the advice! I always get yelled at that for that haha

  • @BalletDancerrr ur welcome. do u three-quarter ur freeds because i tried freeds a while ago and they're seriously as hard as steel-toe workboots!!! hahaha. but how did u get them so broken in so fast? the shank on freeds are so hard

  • @queenallegro96 I guess I'm just used to them. I don't find them difficult to break in. The pair that I'm wearing in the video were brand new; that was the first time I wore them.

  • the vamp looks a little high, i think it would help free your foot a little more, and be able to actually roll through in your shoes. very good technique btw :D

  • You have beautiful feet! But just a question, aren't they dead?? I havr been on pointe for just one year, but i can tell they aren't very "new" as you say...

  • they look like a nice shoe. where do you get them from? is there like a shop or something??they make your arches look nice. i dont have a good arch, do you recemend them as a good shoe?

  • Where are you from?

  • i like them.. if you ever consider getting maker freeds id recommend cutting down the sides a little to highlight your beautiful feet. and btw dont listen to the people saying they're too small, theyre perfect

  • They fit perfectly.... I got them too =) but how do you get the sole of new shoes so "soft" because the soles of my new shoes are always so "hard and straight" .... how do you breake them in?

  • Usually before I even put them on, I'll just bend the shank forward and backwards. Not too much though cause if you break it, it's going to severely shorten the life of the shoe.

  • youre shoes look small when you are standing but when you are on pointe they look amazzzzing!!!!!!

  • I do like my shoes tight, but i think the reason they look small is because the heel is slipping off without the elastics. Thanks though :)

  • WOW!!! what an AMAZING arch!!! I'm really impressed of your feet work =D

  • Thank you :)

  • aren't these shoes too small for your feet?

  • No. They fit fine. they just look small because the elastics aren't sewn on so the heel is slipping down.

  • They look wonderful on your feet. (:

  • freeds are awesome! lol

  • i have arches lyk urs arent they GREAT!!

  • what type of freeds are they?

  • Freed Classics

  • i looove pointe!!! and even without the ribbons and elastics on you have great feet:))

  • I was having fun listening to whatever was playing in the background. haha

I hope I can get on pointe! I did ballet for four years then quit for a year and I'm starting again!

  • Aber das macht man doch nicht ohne Bänder.... ich tanze selber und habe noch nie erlebt das man so einen schuh eintanzt

  • i hope my arches will look as good as yours when i start pointe this month! ahh im so excited!!

  • Ah pointe is so fun! Good luck!

  • I normally use freed studio 2's, but now how some classic proffesionals, not sure which I prefer yet! Which do you prefer?

  • wow your arches are perfect! My arches are so low do you have any advice on how to make them higher? those really compliment your feet!

  • Ah, sorry, that's natural. But if you use a foot stretcher, they usually work.

  • You have great arches and turn out.....jealous

  • hai dei piedi molto carini....:-D nice!!!

  • holy cow, nice arches! you make the shoes look so pretty! I have been dancing on russians my whole life, but i just got a pair of new shoes, freeds, studio II.

Wow! i just wish i had those arches...instead i have strong feet that kill shoes pretty badly =O

  • u have good feet.i like the way u dance

  • So I was definitely distracted by the commercials in the background...

  • hahah! I'm sorry! It bothers me, too. I didn't even realize it when I did this and I didn't feel like doing it again. haha

  • those are great for your feet. Ive had alot of experience too,... and i cant stand it when people say im being dangerous.. haha, but i take it in anyway. those are sooo beautiful ! my Rusian Pointes are so dull, and not pinkish! haha, but i love them anyway!

    keep on dancing!

    -a true dancer

    BalletSwan1

  • haha, you know how I feel then. Which Russian pointes do you wear? They are great shoes, but they are very dull and lacking color haha. But if they look great, then who cares, right? Thanks so much!

  • I honestly did not know they still made freeds.

  • Awesome arches! I wish me feet could be defined like that in pointe shoes!

  • what kind of freeds are those?

  • Sorry, I just saw this post! They are freed classics.

  • Hey, Would Freed fit if you have wide feet? Want to try them, but have wide feet (like a D in bloch) and very low arches...

  • You know I'm not sure, but it doesn't hurt to try =)

Go to a pointe shoe retail store and get fitted for some pairs. You might find they are perfect.

  • Yes, I have VERY wide feet and Freeds are the only things that fit me. Good luck!

  • If your shoes ever start coming off put them back on cuz it not safe to dance on with out the back on your heel

  • Well I was only doing very simple steps and I didn't want to ruin the video by just stopping and putting them back on.

  • You have the same problem my daughter has very strong arches and feet. It is really no problem ,,just means you are murder an a pair of toe shoes just like my daughter.

The shoes look like they fit beutifully. Take good care of those feet they are beautiful.

  • Aw, thanks so much! I'm doing my best =)

  • really good but don't do pointe on carpet

    i have freeds to

  • Great arches! :)

  • youre so dumb. why. just. why. hahhahahahhahahaha

  • You're a freak! How did you even find this?? hahahaha

  • isabel made me watch the video of her then it led me to this videographic masterpiece hahahhaha

but seriously take this down hahahah

  • i think these are the shoes for you!!

  • wooooooaaaa!! ur great u hav very articulted feet and great arches looks like uve broke those babys in well! =]

  • thanks =)

  • your arches are very nice :) good job

  • beautiful legs and feet

  • beautiful, your training is great and your turnout is great keep your freeds

  • Thanks. I honestly have no turn out though haha. And I love Freeds, they are amazing =)

  • you broke in your pointe shoes a bit to much and a bit to early you should have waited until class to break them in because now they are going to die faster D;

  • That was the first time I wore them. And they would die fast anyways. But I prefer dead shoes so I actually get a good use out of my Freeds

  • your a really good dancer

  • i think you should do echappes in the hard floor because i see your rug is moving alittle

  • wow, this is great!

in about a week im guna upload a newer video, but i need sum advice on how far can i get in rises, my feet look like they could go further, but iv pushed them to their limit! :)

  • maybe if you break your shoe a little more you can get over it better? Sometimes I find that that's the case.

  • new...those look dead.

  • Not at all?

  • very nice !!!!!

  • those look a little small..

  • so cute! :)

  • awesome feet! visit my last pointe shoes vid and tell me what you think. i need your opinion

  • yeeeeeah, uve got urself awesome feet, really.

  • Sheesh girl, you have A-MA-ZING feet! So jealous, I might have to cry... jk.

But you really do have great arches... :)

  • I am jealous of your arches... anyways, I personally never liked freeds because every shoe is handmade, so you have to try on 1000 pairs of shoes before you get the right one! isn't it annoying?

  • they look so nice on ur feet also i would like to say how nice it was to see someone slide up to pointe in the on just bouncing up it was beautiful

  • bellissimo collo good!

  • every tme when i saw people wearing freed i think they r too tight 4 them xddddd

  • do u like freeds??? i hate them they dont fit my foot right!! but they loook good on you

  • I love them. They are my all time favorite pointe shoe. I wish everyone's foot fit into them perfectly =( haha

  • my griskos hardly lasted at all

  • did you have the hardest possible shank?

  • Comment removed

  • wow, you have lovely feet!

  • those look really good on your feet. Are freeds better than bloch? I need a new pair and I was wondering if freeds are any good

  • It depends on your foot structure. If you have wider feet, I'd go with blochs. Also, Freeds are really expensive and don't last long, so they might not always be worth it. You can always try a grishko though, they last for a long time and can work for almost any foot type.

  • how did you get your arch? it's so pretty.. i'm jealous. i read your one comment that said you'd give up good feet for good turn out. but you've got both! and i've got neither! it's so sad. but your feet are beautiful and so is your turn out. be grateful :)

  • My arch is natural =( sorry I can't help you out with that. Although, there is this thing called a Chinera (sp?) Foot stretcher that you can order through like dance distributors and that works, too. I have it, but I don't use it...i should start...haha

and no, I have really terrible turn out from the hip. It's sad. Any advice?

  • theres a good turnout stretch where you put your foot on a brre in attitude and push down on your knee and stretch over your leg, it should help

  • GREAT!!!!

  • Those shoes look way too small for you but are very pretty on you.

  • I love your arches!!!!!

  • very graceful but doesnt it hurt going on pointe?

  • haha after 8 years, you get used to it ;)

  • You are so lucky that you have very nice arches! OMG I wish my feet could look like that too! I still have to work on it a lot!

  • haha I'd give up good feet for good turn out. Everyone has their own great qualities!

  • eep are you dancing on a mat?

    is that not dangerous?

    xx

  • it could be.

The floor would have been much more dangerous. And I'm doing like the most basic ballet ever. There is no reason for concern, but thank you for it.

  • Ah! I'm in love with your turn out!

    How'd you do it?

  • Haha honestly, it's such an illusion. I have TERRIBLE turn out. Sorry, if you have any tips though, feel free to share! =)

  • how long do the boxes usually last on freeds? i've used russian points ans grishko shoes, but i go through the box in a couple weeks

  • technically, Freeds are only 3 hour shoes, but I find that I can wear them for about a week until the box is shot. Although, I prefer dancing in almost completely dead pointes and I wear mine for up to or over a month. Not everyone can do that, and if you're looking for a shoe with a hard box, I wouldn't recommend a Freed. You're probably the best off with Grishko's

  • you have nice feet! what size are those? they look really small.

  • I think they are 5.5?

I wear an 8 - 8.5 street shoe, so they aren't that small.

  • beautiful arches

  • i hate freeds with pation they are like the only pointes that i cant use but they look beutifull on you keep the good work

  • you have really pretty feet. those look great on you. : )

  • aw, thanks so much =)

  • they look awesome on your feet!!!!!!!!

  • u look awesome but the shoes look sorta small for some reason

  • nice

  • Very nice arches and good control of your feet. Freeds look amazing on your feet =] nice to see someone pulled up and out of their shoes instead of relying on the shank to take all the weight

  • I love those shoes :) you have really pretty feet!

  • what kind of freeds are they?

  • Classics. They are custom made though

  • they look great on your feet. do you like them?

  • love 'em =)

  • i would get off of the rug and onto the wooden floor. wen u eshape (sorry about spelling) if moves in a bad way. i have gotten my 16th pair of Russians, but i might try freeds. they look nice on your feet.

  • When making this video, I considered the floor but turned it down. Bran new satin pointes on a smooth wood floor? I was begging for an injury. That's a practice rug, it's not thick, and yes it does bunch and doesn't allow for optimum positioning, but it was much safer than the floor. Sadly, that's the best place I have in my house to wear my shoes.

  • good point :D. I usually just practice a bit with them on wooden floor but with rosen so i am okay.

  • They look great on your feet. They have a nice low profile on the side.

  • You have pretty feet, and you make me want to try freeds next, I wonder if they'll fit me, I've been looking and they seem like they would fit.... hmm...

Do you have narrow feet? Because our feet kinda look similar. haha

  • Yeah, they are pretty narrow. I have really tapered toes. But I wear like a size 8 1/2 street shoe haha I have big feet
