i did a similar project, but we weren't allowed to have any internal representations of the maze, and we used lines as walls. cool robots! we always had trouble with battery levels
rechargeable batteries. AC power would have been great. i was thinking of writing an algorithm that would adjust power levels when battery levels dropped.
