  • @vteckicksarse You're right about that. It isn't healthy, but I know lots of guys who are huge and still go to the McDonalds or the KFC, have an ice cream in the weekends. It won't help you, but from my point of view and experience it wouldn't harm you that much. Then again : it's my goal to be buff, but not to be a professional bodybuilder.

  • You have a good start. Lean red meats, green olive oil, skinless chicken, for a start, are superb modalities to get stronge, healthy muscle. Leave out the saturerated fats, for they will only accumulate in your circulatory system give issue later.

    A: the guy is probably like my brother. both can eat anything and they still wont gain a pound.

  • actually carpee923, eating anything and everything is GREAT for a kid 19 years old working out. Im 19 and i work out with my dads close melissa which is a female bodybuilder with her PRO lisence. She tells me to eat EVERYTHING. and yes. including pizza and mcdonalds. pizza has the carbs and yes mcdonalds is fattening but if you go work out. all those calories in that double cheese burger will help for muscle. If your young, then eat everything for working out. steak, pasta, pizza, anything

  • You eat what? Even *amateur body builders should not eat that way. Whole grain wheat bread is ok to eat, but mcdonalds? Sure when you're 19, you can eat what you want and not gain much weight, but if you changed your diet...you would have much greater results.

  • he is right about a few things.. for body building or extreame exercise in general your body needs a lot of energies... especially from complex carbs like cereals, oats and breads. McDonalds should not be a regular part of your diet though.. loaded with tons of saturated fats that are not good for you. good video

  • @carpee923 It's possible to eat that shit and still look like that. Like he said, it's about how much of it you eat, and what you do thereafter. Though I do not condone that as a means of putting on muscle or getting fit. However it is possible to do so, so don't say that it isn't.

  • @carpee923 Even Jay Cutler has admitted to eating the occasional fast food burger. If this guy says he training 6 days a week he can well afford to eat the odd pizza or burger as long as its in moderation. He's gonna burn off the calories in a hard gym session anyway.

If he is an extreme hardgainer, then maybe those foods work for him, but for the average person - TERRIBLE advice.

This guy is cut and lean, I'll give him that, but honestly he lacks the muscle mass and overall physique of a BB of any kind, but pizza and burgers is an absolute forbidden food if you ask any bodybuilder or fitness model, we get our carbs, sodium, and sat. fat, monoun. fat, and poly fat from foods that aren't garbage for your body, definitely not fast food. Pizza and Burgers is only looked at as weekly or monthly cheat meals.

There are people who eat a lot and stay skinny (they are often very nervous people who burn a lot of energy they are called ectomorphs) others eat just a quarter of what the normal people eat and get fat (endomorphs).   • It depends on your body type. If you a hard gainer/ skinny (ectomorph) then 'cheat' foods can be used if that person can not gain weight easily. This is usually because they can not physically eat enough healthy foods to gain the desired weight. MOST people would want to try to eat as 'clean' as possible to keep gains from being sloppy

  • Other then everything you mentioned, the part about the food was incorrect. I watched a lot of Bodybuilder videos including Arnolds, Ronnie Coleman, Jay Cutler, Lee Hayman etc. And they all said you have to eat the right food. You can't just go around eating McDonald's. Are you nut's?

  • I agree its more crucial during cutting phases but even still the top guys don't eat terrible during there off-season either they keep it somewhat clean. Alot of guys eat the same foods year round (cutler) they just increase carbs during bulking phases and decrease them during cutting.
