  • ahaa Shaft

  • The stupid puns and "jokes" at the end of every item nark me off

  • I refuse to watch this on the grounds that the narrator cannot pronounce Aluminium.

  • Hmm.. the handle is held on with a little epoxy and a single rivet?? Considering the function of this tool, I'd prefer a little more over-engineering...

  • Peak performance LOL

  • Ugh. Those are ice tools. The difference between the two can get you killed.

  • nice, put this into zombies head...

  • it doesn't say shit about how the rest of the axe is made

  • I got four of these for the end of the world.

  • lol, she said shaft

  • PINK ROCKS!!! YAYYY! lolz

  • The largest AXE in the world is now for sale on Ebay, if you would like to see it, go to Ebay, and in the search box, type in: 130569369041, and get it while you can.

  • @RyanParsonsStudios Buddy, Drillbits still exist. I'm talking about end mills. Before america was on the map they didn't have the precision grinders that we have today to make end mills. even if they did have end mills they would be so crooked and out of square that they would be useless. Trust me man, I'm a CNC machinist who has made over 300k parts in my lifetime.

  • @RyanParsonsStudios Dumb people, Wrong words. No real machinist wherever you go would ever call it that.

  • "an ALUMINUM rod" seriously?

  • @STuKKie86 It's aluminum rod stock. I don't get how it's a big deal.

  • why do they HEAT up an ICE AXE

  • "they're really designed for PEAK performance!"

  • These are ice tools not ice axes

  • @rjkunzli axes are one of many ice tools but are still referred to as axes. just as crampons, bolts & screws are ice tools also but are separate pieces of equipment. I don't ask for "ice tools" when I shop, I ask to see the crampons and axes......................

  • @1MtnBoy Sure, Ill agree with that, however technical Ice axes are commonly referred to as ice tools to separate them from the classic mountaineering axe which serves a completely different purpose.

  • @rjkunzli Aaaaaah you mean a glacier-stick ! lol. well. I dunno, Ive been climbing since 84 and Ive never heard anyone call them tools.must be a younger-gen thing ? lol, usually us old timers just call it an ice axe, I have a long traditional climbing axe for approach / arresting on glaciers and scrambles and a couple shorty technical axe's for the vertical stuff.

  • How about a How's It Made: Babies??

  • @luckyazian13 check your local smut store for the latest DVD, lol

  • انا ابي اعرف الابيض هذا حليب ولا وش ::/ :/

  • i just wanna jump in at 2:15 :D

  • She said "shaft" 11 times

  • why did they only show how the handle was made? i had assumed the parts on its head was the more critical part of the axe

  • @penitent2401 The handle is very critical. Picks, adzes and hammers can be replaced but the handle is the bit which needs to last a lifetime. The adze and pick shown are made using similar processes anyway. To be fair they don't really go into it but its a "DMM Rebel" and quite a technical axe so the handle shape, forged I beams and coating are very important. Ice climbing is a complex and cold sport.

  • im watching this cuz some dudeon fb is tryn to talk to me and I dont want to deal with telling him no right now.

  • @freestylepurple uhh... okay?

  • @ataraxic89 ehh i was just saying. this was 2 months ago if you didnt notice. not a big deal.

  • i hate how they call endmills drill bits... sigh

  • @enigmaisbetter I hate how they call machining centers computerized drills

  • @enigmaisbetter Ahh but this is for simpletons :P

  • @AliM744 Some of the things they say in these videos hurt a machinist's kahunes.

  • @enigmaisbetter And how they call a face mill a "saw"...............

  • @enigmaisbetter its so the general public knows what to relate them to.

  • @MrTheklotter When I first heard the word end mill and saw it in action I immediately knew what it was. They could just explain it.

  • @enigmaisbetter Thats what people who know what they are talking about call it.

  • I like how they show a different axe in the closing shot

  • @habadasher All made by the same company, DMM, in Wales.

  • ice sexes?

  • WOW!
