Nightwish was indeed a dream come true, a lifestyle and reality for Tuomas, and the rest of the guys, Nightwish wasnt just simply "tarja" she didnt compose any music at all, all she did was isolate the rest of the band, with her "hey look at me! I have a mediocre opera voice! im like a goddess! worship me!" attitude. Pity :)

What new fans seldom understand (Not saying your a new fan) is that yes Annete has some chops and is a good singer in her own right, her voice does not suit the lyrical content or the mood of the music. Call it repetitive with Tarja, I call it mastering the art.

Tuomas is a genius composer, he is also part of the soul of NW, but Tarja has a greater merit, trust me.

Listen to their first songs, it talks all the time about nature and fantasy of the nordic culture.
