cool sh*t. on the 1s and 2s(Kick &Snare)its absolutely crucial you have some interesting sounding kicks and claps to be placed on the 1 and 2. in fact the more interesting (phatter) the sound the less work you gotta do on the rest of the percussions to make it sound tight. a fat west coast kick and that classic fat west coast clap can do all the work. but if you have a wimpy kick and snare you really gotta dazzle them on the percussions to make it sound interesting. good formulas tho dope stuff!
