I am glad to see the changes. When I was in my twenties, 1980's, I lived in Manchester. I had a friend there who was in a wheel chair. We could hardly go anywhere without a struggle. I also grew up in California where access is mandatory for everyone everywhere. . It always upset me that he was left out of so much. Bravo to Britain for making the changes.
