They did an AMAZING job making Erin Wright look like Janis Joplin. There wasn't really much they could do, actually, but...she definitely looks similar. :-)

but remember how the show began? it started with the creepy house and then they showed small clips from the episodes. they showed some of the episodes from the clips, but not all of them. also they dint show all the stries from the book =( mabe thel make a new season!!! =)

It wasn't supposed to be a show. It was a mini-series. Only 8 episodes. What you're talking about is just the opening credits; they created them, just like on any other show, but not every second of the credits was taken from "episodes." It was artistic.
