  • i never knew there was such thing as mango butter

  • Love it(:-3 ur beautiful

  • what color did you have on your lips before you applied the lip balm? its pretty :)

  • nice!

  • Please reply! When i search for soy wax it brings up stuff to make candles with. Is this the same stuff? Could you please give me some websites or tell me if i can use soy wax thats tailored towards candle making? Thanks! <3

  • This sounds so good. Thanks for sharing.

  • @letsbehappy11 castor oil works well also but make sure you use a small amount cause it's fairly thick

  • does in have to have fragrant oil?

  • could you put a flavoring in it?

  • the besttt, I tried this and it worked!!

this is so cute, you are the best

    Love you

  • love the idea and your really creative!!

  • This is great! :)

  • do you know a substitute for the almond oil because i am allergic

  • Also can I use YELLOW BEESWAX instead of white beeswax??? I'm thinking since I cant find Soy Wax...i'll use beeswax instead (like you stated)....

  • @anneorshine ~ I can only find Soy Wax for candles online... can I use that? Or do you know of a website that sells SoyWax that we can use for the lipbalm making????

    Thanks

  • @IloveCouplesResorts yes you can use beeswax... I ordered my soy wax food grade from ebay.

  • @anneorshine THANKS A MILLION!!!!!! Loved the tutorial!!!!!

  • @IloveCouplesResorts try vaselline ;)

  • @MegaKristy007 thanks for the advice. I actually ordered ingredients through

    brambleberry. :)

  • It's really annoying how u don't say 'of'. U just say pour In am amount coconut oil instead of an mount of coconut oil

  • @MrMonkeyface2468 Not trying to troll, but I thought that maybe before you correct another person's grammar mistake, you can make sure that you have the right grammar and spelling first? It will make you sound more convincing.

Plus, if one is reading the name and quantity of the ingredients straight off a recipe, one wouldn't naturally say "of", since the recipe wouldn't have that printed. From the sound of it, Ann was probably doing exactly that.

  • Thank you Anne for this video. I really want to try this. I am on the hunt for all the products needed!

  • lov DIYS!!

  • GORGEOUS!!

  • jkimisyellow sounds like you when hes doing a girls voice.

  • is there any other method of making it since I'm allergic to mango and almonds:S

  • @Synchrogirl123 maybe try jojoba oil instead of almonds oil and for example shea or avocado butter instead of mango butter. :)

  • nice!!!!! I'll do this today :)

i also have DIY on my blog,

look at my page : prinzessinbouvet.blogspot.com

    xo

  • I like your little cat plate! so cute!

  • Can u mKe an update video about cuting ur hair in layers pleaseeee pleaseeeee

  • I LOVE your DIYS!

  • for everyone with the questions : just buy some lip balm they sell it everywhere...

  • Hello, I love this tutorial.

    Have nice day !!!!!!

  • so cool!!

  • these ingredients are probably worth more that how much an actual lip balm is. LOL

  • Do you need to use a preservative for these bc of the honey?

  • @purplegal05 Honey and coconut oils are actually natural antiseptic. HOney is also anti-inflammatory which heals wounds and kills viruses... that's why it's highly recommended when you're sick etc. you can use a preservative but like most natural products it is not made for long storage ;)

  • OMG this is so good!

  • i love trader joes :)

  • I wudnt know where to buy the pretty little containers you have for them...and it's no fun without them! :p

  • AMAZING!!!

  • you kinda remind me of emily from Pretty little liars

  • Great video~ :DD I'll try this if my parents lemme buy these haha and hopefully I can find them in Calgary >8O and I seriously love your voice [no creep]~ tralala~

  • There are wayyy too many funky ingredients to this! Where are we suppose to find all these?

  • @kukheemonster in the info bar... there's only 3 oils/butter and 1 wax... those are the key ingredients.

  • @anneorshine yeah but you say "simple recipe" when these ingredients are not common in most houses!

  • Wow you and beautysplurge just did videos that are very similar at the same time! :) Great Minds think alike ...

  • i can't find those small containers anywhere... i have gone to my local food stores and CVS and walgreens but i can't find them!

  • @lunatuna111 they won't have them... you'll need to go to craft stores.

  • @lunatuna111 a while ago in cvs i got a lip butter in a container like these.

  • when u put the colored balm on would it come out sheer or with a more opaque color?

  • @Animeluvr44 the one I used has a tint of color... some colors may not come out... try melting a little of your lipstick together ;)

  • @anneorshine ty! cant wait to try it ^.^

  • I really hate the taste of Almond extract. does almond oil taste like that? I love your DIY videos!

  • @Fullhouse1995 it taste like nothing... but you can use olive oil instead.

  • Loved!

  • Super awesome! Must give it a try. Thanks!

  • what is another option to honey? because I dont like the honey at all

  • @TiisWorld agave nectar or maple syrup ;)

  • Damn it! Sometimes I wish youtube had a sample smell button or taste. Gosh that looks juicy and yummy.

  • @Boms501 LOL... right!

  • Can I just order these from you :) I'm too lazy to make'em ;p LOL

  • Are these tinted?

  • @luckeymii yes =)

  • would these melt in your bag in high temperatures?

  • @lialeu15 As with just about every other lipbalm on the planet, I would assume so.

  • @IndiePoppedhearts i have lived in 100+ degree temps and have never had melted lipsticks or balms in my bag. was only wondering because it was DIY.

  • @lialeu15 yes =)

  • I never thought this would be so simple! Thanks for the tutorial! :)

  • thats so cute to make for other and yourself! :)

  • great tutorial!! can you make another one but for dry under eyes? would be great too ;)

  • sooooo I see you made quite a few...giveaway? :)

  • i cant find coconut oil or mango butter anywhere, is there anything i can use instead?

  • @lovevideos4ever health food stores, craft stores, or ebay =) you can also use olive oil.

  • @anneorshine amazing video! :)

    any alternative for mango butter?

  • @lovevideos4ever U can use shea butter, if u don't mind me letting u know just in case she doesn't have time to respond to u:-)

  • @lovevideos4ever Oh and u can also find Coconut Oil at Whole Foods, Walmart, GNC, Vitamin World or Vitamin Shoppe:-)

  • I love DIY videos :D

  • this is brilliant! i love this video

  • This is so neat and cool but so much stuff to get. I mind as well just go buy one that already made. I'm so lazy ....

  • Ohmy gosh. I want to try this, but where are we supposed to get all this stuff. x__x

  • @Hybridat0msk health food stores, craft stores, or ebay =)

  • this is a great idea, most home made lip balms use petroleum jelly this is much better. Thanks for sharing.

  • this is cool..i hope i can have the ingredients on-hand

  • what is a good alternative for the almond oil since im allergic to nuts :(

  • @ilikekaymun oh yes! u sure can... try extra virgin olive oil.

  • Hi How wonderful!!! That look super easy too. Thank you very much for this idea. What type of Coconut Oil do you use? Is it safe to say that the Coconut Oil they sell at Whole foods would be a great choice? Thx Lucille

  • @Tinkerchelli yes... I like to use the unrefine less process oil since I also drink a table spoon of it every night. Coconut oil has a bad rep for the sat. fats but what most don't know is that there are different types of saturated fats... good and bad. Wholefoods have some great selections of natural products ;)

  • I love Trader Joes! I live a couple towns away from one, its great!

  • Thank you for this Video Anne...been waiting for your latest Video for weeks now :) You are one of my favorites!

  • Nice job! : )

  • Awww I love it do u sell them? I wanna buy some from u lol

  • @XxNaTiVeBaBiiDoLLxX lol... no, u should try making them... super easy and you can use the rest of the ingredients for more of my future DIY =)

  • Looooved it

  • i liked those containers you had! better than the sample jars i have seen. is there somewhere i can buy them? thanks!

  • @toothpickfaerie I ordered mine's from ebay 2 yrs ago, try googling lip blam containers ;)

  • @anneorshine how many ounces are they? I do see them on ebay. I don't want them too big or not big enough :) Thanks. I would also love to see a body butter one. I find nothing last longer than one part Johnson's and Johnson's Baby Oil gel and one part lotion. You wake up soft and moisturized. I am wondering if you know of any comparable or better...I loved the eczema benefits of this lip balm! Good Work! Appreciate your videos.

  • I love coconut oil for a deep hair mask amazing

  • @jennaleeforu I can't believed it... so funny! I should try the lottery... maybe the chance of me winning... hmmm...

  • Does the coloring have to be in liquid form? Or could you add something like an eye shadow pigment?

  • @ummitslauren you can try it with pigments or mica... try mixing it into the oil.. if it doesn't mix well then mix the powder with rubbing alcohol =)

  • Awesome~~!!! Great tip <3 Thank you for sharing Ann
