Chip it. Put a full exhaust system in. for the vr6 you can just straight pipe it if you dont have alot of money and it sounds great. Then if you have alot of money, build the engine and throw on a turbo. or if you have the 1.8t upgrade to the KO4 turbo.

There's not many cars that sound better than that narrow angle VR6 motor. I understand why they don't make it anymore, but it's a pity they don't bring back an updated version.

@Ndogg550 I agree they sound sweet. I love my old 12v. But VW still makes the motor. Its a 3.6L now in the Passast CC an Touareg. VW also released a Jetta at the Paris Motor show that had the 3.6L VR6 in it with 4Motion. Which might end up being the new Jetta R
