I love seeing someone named "MrLammfan36!! I'm 54 years old, and have been a fan of "Mr. Lamm for 43 years!! Songs such as "Dialogue" and "We can Stop the Hurting" are brilliant Chicago pieces. And don't forget the brilliance of Questions 67/68, Beginnings, etc. I'm so pleased with Robert's career choice--Continue touring/working with Chicago, but put out great/ under rated lp's such as "Subtlety and Passion, The Bossa album, and his brand new one too--Listen to it everyone, it's great!!
yes they do compliment each other very well. I believe also Terry had the same chemistry. (i am not comparing Kath and Lamm or anybody). But i think the point was well made about "Love is new" is a good one I had never thought of. This album should go down in the "All time favorites" of mine This is terrific. I am still waiting for somebody to do the song "Subtlety and passion" Fabulous work!!
I love this song. It strikes me as a re-written and more mature "Love Was New". I've always found that song to be lacking in conviction, almost as though RL is trying to convince himself he's still in love. In this song, he's found that conviction, and come to realize that love isn't about thrills (the skiing in the sun of "Love Was New"), but rather about the intimacy of true connection. This is a very mature love song.

So wish I could see and hear Robert Lamm and Jason Scheff (on bass) do this LIVE! My very fave musicians of my lifetime!
