Beautiful, talented, and real class. Loved her in Alan Dwan's "Slightly Scarlet" and opposite Bing in "A Connecticut Yankee." Married six times, most notably (and enduringly) to director Hall Bartlett and theater magnate Ted Mann.
I WISH WISH WISH they would bring this show back...but I honestly don't think the stars of today would do it! I mean...EVERY BIG STAR of the 50's did this show! So GOOD! IT WOULD BE AWESOME TO BRING IT BACK!
What a joy to watch! The lovely and talented Ms Fleming was called the "Queen of Technicolor". Too bad she didn't appear on the show in the latter part of the 60's when it was broacast in color! THANKS for posting this...a lot of fun to watch! :)
"What's My Line" was truly a class act. Top stars appeared every week, the panel dressed in formal evening wear and the moderator was the erudite John Daly. They don't make 'em like that anymore!
Yes, I can't stop watching either. This has to be the best show that was broadcast on television. What class, style, and wit! All of today's show pale in comparsion.
@betsiecow Best way to do this is to have this window open, and have another open to imdb.com A few of these people I have never heard of. It's also interesting to see whether or not they are deceased as of 2012. I'm 32 btw and can't remember how I got to this side of YT. Though I'm glad I did.
Miss Fleming has such a lovely, warm voice. I only wish WML could have been in color (yes, I know it was done in b/w) because Rhonda's coloring and hair were so stunning. I'll never forget her as Alisande in A CONNECTICUT YANKEE IN KING ARTHUR'S COURT. She looked like she stepped out of a fairytale. She was delightful in this WML clip. Thanks!
This is the last episode of What's My Line that features the wild guesses and that allowed the panelists to ask as many questions of the mystery guest as possible until they got a no. The next week, they panelists could ask only one question at a time of mystery guests. Gil Fates made the change because both Cerf and Kilgallen wanted to win the mystery guest round and tended to dominate it.
What a knockout. Bennett is smart.

Jane Russell and Rhonda have taught Sunday School for 30 years. Rhonda was not only beautiful but very classy!

You gotta hand it to Mr. Cirf.
He had indeed waited for Ms. Rhonda Fleming to appear on the show.
Look at the number of times he had guessed her with other actresses.
He could have ended that session in a minute, he is just so excited.
She is simply beautiful.

The endlessly sleazy Bennett Cerf strikes again

Maybe this one was too earlier for color, but just tragic that no episodes of classic WML survive in color, especially those with redheads!

Wow... the red-haired gorgeous and stunning RHONDA FLEMING!
With John Payne in the excellent Film-noir SLIGHTLY SCARLET.
Thanks for sharing.
