I don't know whether I agree with your 'story'. The movies make it pretty clear that John felt out of place in Xavier's school, feeling that they are too tame. At that time he can't do much about it, but that changes once he meets Magneto. They both share the same view of how mutants should be living. The way he acted and the expressions on his face made it clear that he was always destined to be a villain. He sees Bobby as a rival. Not as a friend. That's what I got out of it, anyway.

I really like the way the energy in the song compliments Pyro's aggression. Kid was in a bad way, having to battle his former allies (friends, even) over a conflict that cuts so deep (emotionally and physically, even). The video definitely does the concept justice.

He didn't create fire. They tried to make the movie more like the comic books where he just has a device that makes a spark, and then he can make it grow and use it as he pleases.

Bobby didn't turn into ice, he coated himself in ice, and his body wouldn't stop working because it would have adjusted to the temperature of the ice from using his power.

Where is it stated that Iceman is the third most powerful mutant in the world? I would seriously state that the lvl 5 mutants out-power iceman. Even if in the comics the only lvl 5 mutant is Jean/Phoenix there are more out there. Still, even if the ice had covered his entire body, in the movies he's clearly still in learning state, otherwise he wouldn't be in the school. The fire that Pyro is launching at him, would have killed bobby. Even if it's a movie about superpowers, lets keep it real...

by the professor he once said that bobby had the "potentional" to be the third most power mutant, because he is considered a level 5 mutant, at least in the comics. But as for pyro killing him, that would be up to the temperatures that they're at. Ice has a melting point, if pyro isn't making it hot enough it won't melt not to mention he could create more ice around him as it melts away. The ice was a sheild for him.

The song is perfect for the two boys and their friendship/rivalry. I like the storyline, too. Especially that Magneto and Wolverine manipulate the two boys that they fight ech other and so on. As a Pyrofan I`d like to see that Pyro win the battle...but one cannot have everything. xD So great work!
