  • j adore merci lou

  • Thumbs up if you first heard this song on Grease

  • Sometimes I don't like remakes of songs, they sound different - but I love this one!

  • Sorry Lou...this was awful, but thanks for playing! :) One of the worse covers of this song I ever heard by a professional singer.

  • This wonderful song, remember The Smiths songs.

  • Another song stolen from a black man wack version anyway

  • Anything and everything this man sings turns to "GOLD" in my book.

  • Heavens to Murgartroid! Had NO idea until now that Lou had done his own version of this classic 60's tune. Like Little Anthony, he has a perfect high pitched voice for it. Enjoyed very much hearing it today for the first time. MANY thanks for sharing this delightful "blast from the past" with us! :)

  • I love Lou but when he hit that high note my cat hung himself in the closet.

  • J Timberlake has nothing on Lou when hittin' those high notes....falsettos that is!

  • Do you believe his voice!!! He makes me CRAZY. Those Lips ,

  • Oh Baby--another SUPER SONG. Thank you Lou.

  • both great songs, but i like LOU"s version better.

  • I love it! Why can't people just love both versions! Little Anthony is amazing, but LC brings his own style here. Nothing wrong with that!

  • God I love Christie's voice but it's just not right here. Also I don't like what he did with his backup singers. Christie just didn't use his beautiful falsetto here right until way later in the song.

  • i dont think i like this version. black people have something in their voices white people cannot re-create. now i am white and have nothing against white entertainers, but blacks sing with heart and soul!

  • I LOVE TIZ SONG:)

  • i cant decide whether this version is brilliant, or just plain awful !

  • This version sucks...

  • white guys use to take over the blacks lyrics little anthony n the imperials is the original one!!!

  • and vice versa

  • A song writer gets HALF of the profit from any recording, so he wants more than one artist to sing his song. If LC could sell this record to a certain fan base, and Little Anthony sold to another, then the SONG writer made off of both. No matter how good a singer is he HAS to have a song to have a hit.

  • Who sung the original?

  • Little Anthony And The Imperials

  • this is a classic. havent heard it in ages!! im

  • dope oldie cut!

thanks for the up load homie

  • Lou can make any original better!

  • Thank you for posting. So good to hear songs that could have been lost in time.

I love Youtube, a store house of pure treasure. Thank you for sharing your gems.

  • @Rhondalove good for the next generation like me :D

  • EXCRUITIATING

  • lovly, dreaming back

  • anova main part of ma lyf

  • I still love his lips......................

  • I am a hardline Little Anthony Fan and this is great. Lou did it proud.

  • No offense to Lou, but why even try to follow-up the sound of Little Anthony & the Imperials? Try though he might, Lou does not add a thing to the superb group sound of the original and the teenage angst that L.A. & Imperials so aptly conveyed.

  • Shaddup iotbs6. Anthony didn't own the song. Tears on My Pillow was written by Bradford/Lewis and covered by Bobby Vinton, Bobby Vee, Martha & Vandellas, Reba McEntire, Neil Sedaka just to name a few. Not only did Lou Christi do a great version of Tears on My Pillow, Lou Christi also wrote lyrics & music to his own hits. Anthony had no writing talent, he's the one who had to use everybody else's material. Only other hit Anthony had was "Goin' Out of My Head" written by Randazzo/Weinstein. Pttt!

  • is this the original version? It's from the 60s, right!?

  • To Ren090485:

Actually, it was first released in 1958 by "The Imperials" (who are now referred to as "Little Anthony & the Imperials")

  • Thanks for that!! This is uch an awesome song!! =)

  • Lou is still a great performer. This was originally a giant hit for Little Anthony and The Imperials, another fantastic name to add to the list for all the "oldie but goodies" that are still with us. Keep goin' Lou.

  • this one is different from the other song here

  • who originally sings this song? i thought it was a solo female artist iono and thought it was slower tempo but iono some 1 confirm

  • It sounds like old Lou was biting his pillow, lol...
