I start my tomato plants indoor like this around Valentines day but move them outside after the last frost. If you grow like this to harvest, you get pretty damned expensive tomatos, but you can also grow all year round, depending on if your plats are determinate or indeteminate.

Nicely done! I'm going to be purchasing a Metal halide lamp very soon. I'm going to plant tomatoes, mini cucumbers, red peppers, wheat grass...etc.

Can u completely grow veggies like that inside the house to fruit or do u have to put them outside at some point?

@kokonutbaby1 depends how big the plant will grow like, a melon plant will need a big pot, but u can deffinitly grow spinich ,tomatos, strawberrys ,any kind of berry

Yea this is pretty cool I have 8 Cherry Tomato seedlings under Cool White flourescent 4 foot bulbs but I dont have the money to buy MH or HPS for Tomatoes. Anyways best of luck cause mine seem to take forever to grow and i lost track of what week it is lolz

Some will go in the garden, some will be sold to local gardners. I am new at this and it is just my hobby.
