I wish someone would point out to maria when she tries to portray investors as the "average American" that 34% of all stock in this country is owned by upper1% of people. 75% of all stock and 98% of all bonds are owned by upper 10 % of the people. 50 % of the people have 0 investments of any kind. The 40% in the middle own 25% of stock in pensions subject to their companies claiming bankruptcy and having a judge strip it all away to protect the "average American" investor.

The analogy I love is, how about we devise a system that pays doctors more if they don't treat you. Because that is EXACTLY the mentality of the health insurance industry...and I'm not even blaming them for this...they're a for profit business and making $, taking care of stake/stock holders should be their priority...just get them out of my healthcare!

Problem with Corporate Ran Health Care or Insurance Ran Health Care, is there is no free market...its all about the US Senators on the take of lobbyist and bad ethics that has led this Nation to the private sector of losing control over the Corporate Sector and the Govt the way laws are made.

He is the only democrat that I have seen fighting for what we voted for. obama is backing down big time on his promise. its so dissapointing. rep. weiner has been arguing with republicans not just taking the easy way out and staying just on msnbc. he has been on fox and morning joe.

That horrible woman just does not seem to get it. It's as though she's seen the previous interviews and thought 'Oh damn, they got slammed by Weiner..." and so her approach is to just NEVER GIVE UP. Basically drown out every fact and example, continue spewing half-truths and use empty rhetoric and basically wait until the segment is over.

As a Canadian, I seriously can't understand some portion of America's public being opposed to free health care. It's actually mind boggling.

Most politicians are too busy trying to get re-elected. They're too scared of pissing off the big corporations to stand up for what they know is right.

The irony of it is that by speaking truth to power and representing the people, Weiner's seat is probably the safest in Congress.
